Does anyone else remember the scene in The Wire where Jimmy writes this letter under the pseudonym and the FBI's analyst gives a summary of the person who wrote it, and Jimmy is just speechless as his facade is entirely revealed despite his thinking he had cloaked his persona with the bullshit letter?

Ralph thinks he's smart, has sent this garbage to Harry and somehow these admissions will somehow play out in his favor in the future, when all they reveal is his pathetic existence.

My my my, how Ralph has fallen whereby he proves the haters wrong because he is actually doing OK in a shack, in Mexico, hiding from the real world (which he can't afford to live in) begging for money. what's the status with the house he owns in america? i vaguely remember that some uncle of his was trying to get ownership of that property from him to do something with it instead of letting it rot away as an abandoned crack shack or something?

He gambled away enough money to tear that down and rebuild it 10 times by now, he could've been renting it out and it would be paying for his life in Mexico. Losing money on Indian tennis matches and spilt liquor was more important though.
