She was Katherine Hepburn in The Aviator. That's probably what you're talking about. The Aviator is a biographical film of sorts of Hell's Angels director, Howard Hughes. If memory serves, Hell's Angels directed all its aviation stunts in house which was expensive and dangerous, especially at the time.

Not the film I'm talking about actually, but I did see that one and I loved her in it. I actually enjoyed that film in general and I now want to watch it again haha. No, the film I'm talking about is Carol actually. She just fits that look somehow and it scares me how great she looks in films set in that time period. I'd love to see her in more like that if I'm being honest.

Carol, nice name. Now I'm curious, thanks for the movie suggestion. Oh, and Hell's Angels was in the 30s, not the 50s. I'm dumb for not reading it closely.

I can't explain it exactly. I would totally go after Audrey Hepburn. Not just try and get laid. I'd actually go full on dinner date 5 star restaurant and deep conversation before trying anything more. The same deal with Ellen Page before she did what she did...Good God. What have we done as society?

Well all her films were girly "chick flicks" I guess. I enjoyed the ones I saw. It's like having a crush on Taylor Swift or something, plus she could have been my great grandmother. I love classic films, probably not as much as you do. Let's just say I'm more of Dr. Stranglove/ Alien (1979) kind of guy. So admitting I watched classic chick flicks, mildly embarrassing? Worse things I've done. I actually unironically listen to Courtney love once a week.
