Elliot Page / Ellen Page - Former actress, starred in Juno. Turned into a pooner and divorced her wife because being a lesbian was not boosting her career anymore. Receives a daily dose of asspatting from Hollywood. Likes to show off her "male" body using fake abdominals.

I always hated the whiney, warbly voice she had.

It's not even a pooner thing, she just sounds like she's about to fucking cry when she talks. Unbelievably grating.

If you're male and tell me she looked "hot" back in the day, you are instantly sus to me, because she always looked like a child.
I feel the same way about Emma Watson. I think people just like them because they aren't as unattainable as a bombshell, and at least with Emma a bunch of boys grew up with her as Hermione, so it's like a childhood crush growing up.

What revisionist history is this? She trooned out because she was rapidly losing her looks (and hair) due to her eating disorder catching up with her (by the first season of Umbrella Academy, she was already looking like Linda Hamilton in Captain Howdy makeup); and specifically didn't want to live out the rest of her life as an aged actress. Her intent was to murder the Ellen persona and use her money to fund the fantasy that she's a teenage boy who smashes box.

I think she could have aged gracefully if she’d just accepted the fact that she could be pretty without looking the same as when she was 20. In the Gucci movie she looked OK since she just got a lesbian haircut instead of that goofy shit she usually has. She could have just aged into a butch, she’s thin as long as she listened to her stylists she could have looked just fine

I'm assuming someone has since pointed out she was in Trailer Park Boys when she was a child. Mr Lahey's daughter I believe.
As a matter of fact, you are correct. To be honest, I didn't corrected the thread ever since it came out. I'll be correcting this when I start the rewriting. Thank you for pointing it out.

What I want to know: why can't they "act" in good movies anymore?
Does transitioning take a human's acting abilities and other abilities away?
Aside from the fact many people wouldn't want to work with them for several reasons, what role would you cast her for?

There is a reason why you cast Chris Hemsworth as Thor and not Peter Dinklage, and even so, Hemsworth still was credible as the dumb secretary in Ghostbusters and if you cast him as some suburban dad, it's still credible. That's called being versatile.

And even when Fox cast Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask, which felt out of place considering the time setting of the movie, he still looks like a 40-something man so I can suspend my disbelief because he's a terrific actor who can deliver and he can play so many roles that don't scream "DWARF" in the same way not ever Hemsworth role says "NORDIC GOD".

Ellen has lost versatility because she's neither a man or a woman: she is trans. She can only play trans roles now because nobody really believes she's a man. Even when people affirm she is a man, our eyes don't lie. The most she can play is teen males and she's about to be 40 and looks unhealthy. Aside from being mentally ill, her career is over because she can't find good roles.

She’d play a great butch lesbian in middle age, can think of a few other type of roles, too. The thing is, everyone knows how cray cray troons & poons can get, so no one will approach her about playing a female character like a butch lesbian or even a little troll or whatever because with a troon or poon, you can never be sure of what you’re going to get, what state they’ll be in. Who they will try to get fired if they get upset that not everyone will play along with their fantasy.

Don't forget that Ellen is (presumably still) a vegan. It might be the combination of T and no brotons that is making it worse. I'm not sure what happens to a body when you blast it with testosterone and then don't eat more, don't eat enough protein, and don't work out, but looking at your average modern pooner it can't be good. Even if she has stopped taking T now, because she doesn't look very hairy, the damage may already be done.
Just imagine if all of the mess could have been avoided if people had started to feed her a steady diet of steak, salmon, chicken and eggs.

Speaking of which. Is there some sort of vegetarian to lesbian pipeline?

She's not gonna be asked to play a lesbian because that'd be like asking Cillian Murphy to play Margaret Thatcher. Nobody's gonna ask a man to play a woman, so they can't ask a "man" to play a lesbian.

Roles for Ellen would be men in their late 30s, but she's also very small so it's really no credible unless she acts her lines on top of one or two boxes.

ETA: it's kinda tragic that even Dinklage can be cast in many roles because midgets are still capable of function in society. I saw a movie with him being a journo the other day, and sure, he could have become a journo. But Ellen will always be a short woman.

The irony of Pooners and Troons being unable to Pretend on a professional basis.
Ellen can't even pretend to be happy for a picture.

Honestly? He could do it.

They asked Cate Blanchett to play Bob Dylan.
If the comedy gods smile upon us, we'll see Elliot cast in classic male-as-female roles, like Edna Turnblad or Tootsie.

Liberal women are delusional and believe being a male is playing life on easy mode, and men generally live in a warm and welcoming world.
Men don't live particularly easy lives. Though, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts if you feel women live easier ones. Ellen was probably molested most of her life (as you mentioned) and now has the horror of transitioning to look forward to thanks to the mob's encouragement of her delusions. Seems like she got a rough hand despite being a woman.

Anyway, I watched like ten minutes of that Gucci ad. Seems like they edited Ellen's voice to sound less froggy.

I recommend the book "self made man" by Norah Vincent, autobiography of a lesbian who disguised herself as a man for a year.

My take:
Men's bell curve distribution is wider in all areas of life. More CEOs are male, but also more homeless drug addicts are. More supergeniuses are male, but also more retard convicts etc.
I think a lot of the envy women have for men stems from this subconscious mental framework where undesirable men get filtered out by default; e.g. "I bet Brad Pitt and Jeff Bezos never get condescending comments, men have life on easy mode."
Men probably do the same when thinking about women. I have no idea who has it harder; different challenges probably.

Context: living as a man fucked her up so badly that she cut the experiment short and committed herself. Unsuccessfully, as it turns out, given that she got Canadian Healthcare last year.

Every time I visit this thread, I'm consciously reminded that I used to fancy Fkae, and it makes me wanna... WANNA...

Maybe I should start calling her/him/confused/made up Ellie.
