While this would fit Elijah to a T, remember that this is a divorce and BOTH parties in a divorce will often say the most profane, nasty stuff they can think of to get a leg up in the proceedings.

Good heavens. These alone explain that "flooded hotel" clip and his discombobulated voice therein. Quetiapine (Seroquel) alone is insanely mood-altering. Quet + Escit + two benzoes is an unbelievable stack for someone this young. He oughtta do less preaching about how things oughtta be and start getting his life how it oughtta be.

A schizophrenic person once told me that for a normal person, Seroquel has an extremely powerful sedative effect while for schizos it doesnt have the sedative effect at all. I'm not sure how true this is but I'd imagine it's similar for some of the other conditions that it's used to treat such as bipolar.

3 of those drugs are abuse-able, one is a very serious anti-psychotic (Seroquel) and the last is a non-recreational sleep aid. On Seroquel being used for insomnia:

So I think he's getting these using anxiety and insomnia as his claimed conditions but it still seems strange he is prescribed Seroquel unless he's a legitimate manic-depressive or schizoaffective. I could believe he's manic-depressive without any further considerations required. Schizoaffective could be on the table because as you said, the backrooms style hotel video is definitely schizo coded, as the kids say these days.

Tony Ortiz, the journalist who confronted Elijah at CPAC, wrote an article on Twitter (a) about the recent revelations. Someone with obvious paranoid tendencies like Elijah really should not touch cocaine; according to the filings, he thinks the FBI is trying to kill him.

Elijah is from my local area and I knew people that went to his church. Never heard of him molesting a 16 year old boy, but I remember hearing he was fired from his youth pastor job for being inappropriate with High School girls. Close enough I guess.

Other posters have basically already said this, but to be very specifically clear: Quetiapine/Seroquel is an antipsychotic, and Escitalopram/Lexapro is an SSRI.

Antipsychotics can be prescribed in lower dosages as a complementary treatment to antidepressants like SSRIs as a way of "taking the edge off," if someone has depression that manifests with irritability and aggression. For this usage, it can be used on an as-needed basis, whereas for treating true psychosis, it needs to be taken on a consistent daily basis so that it can build up in your system.

Not mutually exclusive. Normally I take divorce proceeding allegations with a huge grain of salt, but that's a lot of smoke at this point about his proclivities from a lot of different sources now. It's also weirdly specific.

I think the most likely case is, he's an Andy Dick-esque hypersexual pervert whose inclinations are worsened by alcohol and substances, fame taking it up to 11.

Quetiapine is an antipsychotic only in higher dosages. He's currently receiving 100mg, so it's probably being used as a coadjuvant for his apparent insomnia and depression.
Hydroxyzine may also be for his insomnia and/or allergies, but I agree that he's probably receiving it for anxiety.

The more important thing to point out here is that he's currently taking an insanely sedating, albeit mid-ranged dosed cocktail of drugs. If the lolcow in question used to abuse sedating substances (think alcohol), then it wouldn't be particularly hindering, at least not more so than regular untreated alcoholism or benzo abuse.

There's a stream from Corinne back in December 2020 where GooCheese got arrested during a Trump / Election Protest rally.

Corinne was in a hotel lobby freaking out and Elijah Schaffer comes up to her and sits down talking to her. Meanwhile his jaw is twitching a fuckton and he's got a Twink Latino "bodyguard" fully masked up with him

Absolute kino if there is any record of this Corinne stream. I believe it was prior to Stop the Steal..maybe December 14th?
