Welp., time to play the first now! I ain't got no excuse now that DD2 is confirmed, so I might as well see what the hubbub is about.

The wind memes confuse me though. Guess I'll find out lol

The wind meme was referring to the original opening song which was unfortunately replaced in when the Dark Arisen edition came out (if I'm remembering correctly). Still a catchy song though.

Wolves travel in packs. You'll understand.
 
Please prove me wrong, but I'm not convinced it's going to be nearly as good as the first. Barring some exceptions, nobody really knows how to do a good sequel these days, especially not when released so far apart.
 
I've never been so glad to be so wrong.
I can't wait to light myself on fire and climb on gigantic enemies again while my boon companion hits them in the face with a sledgehammer.

Itsuno did DMCV and that was everything fans hoped for so I'm cautiously optimistic. My only serious concern is that they'll do away with the pawn system in favor of shitty coop. I'm fine with COOP being an option, but I want to have three pawns like the first game as an option too.

They have been good but they have also been turbo Jews. You dont like the dragons new mohawk well Capcom will have you sorted for just $4.99 you can purchase classic Grigori. Watch Capcom will do just that. They do it with the Res games, we know they are going to do it with SF6 and they sure as hell will do the same with DD2.

Game should be fire but the merchants guild hunts in packs arisen!

Honestly all they have to do to succeed for me is keep the same gameplay, but expand on everything else. Bigger world, more monsters...

If they actually add to it, improve on the combat, maybe some co-op... God, im hype

On one hand yes, you're absolutely right.

On the other hand (and I understand that it's totally subjective) I haven't purchased any DLC from them and I still had a good time with their games so, eh, I kinda don't give a fuck about the merchant's guild.

I mean, if I particularly enjoy the game I might even throw some sheckels their way. Probably not though!

I normally ignore the money grabbing tatics as well but the bastards got into my wallet with classic Claire in the Res 2 remake. Not proud of that moment of absolute weakness. But yeah as you say Capcom's games over the past couple of years have been good even SFV eventully became an alright game. I think Capcom even in their most shitty phases where still putting out the random bangers of games.
 
You know it's a big deal when /v/ has a sticky for it. And today was the day TMNT Shredder's Revenge was supposed to come out, all the thunder has been stolen! Turtlechads how will we ever recover?!

For the Americans all they gotta do is add in the classes from DD Online and give us a ultra HD RE4 engine monsters to climb and fuck with.

And give warriors four abilities damn it!
 
Anyone played Dragon's Dogma Online? How was it? All i know is that some of the monsters looked fucking awesome

Currently, the official server has already shut down.
But the fans are working on the private server right now
