Ah, Dragon Ball. I grew up with Z, then watched Dragon Ball and GT when I became a teenager. I don't think GT is nearly as bad as people say it is, though it's nowhere near as good as the other two. I really liked Kai, and it had a great dub. The movies are okay, and the Bardock and Trunks specials are great.

I tried to watch Super, but found it to be pretty awful. It also really pissed me off that one of the titles had a minion of Freeza, all mysterious and whatnot, and you're wondering who he is, intrigued, and then the episode title comes up, and: Oh, gee, thanks, guys. I sure didn't need to find that out for myself.

I love Abridged. One of the only consistently good Abridged series, in my opinion. Its fanbase is fucking insufferable, though.

We got new Gohan renders! He's rockin' the Bedhead Clark Kent look!

This last chapter almost retcons the entire series, attributing Goku's success to a wish made by Bardock. It also introduces a giant plothole. He wishes for his sons to thrive. Of course, Raditz dies right after we meet him, then we never see him again. Goku mentioned him in the previous issue, though, for the first time in who knows how long. Maybe we're about to see him again? Oh lawd.

I hope Raditz doesn't stay the bottom barrel power level, we might see gay shit but hopefully it ain't homo.

Apparently he’s in an after credits scene in the new movie, so…

Nothing's gayer than a redemption arc for a 34-year-old one-time villain nobody asked for. Anything but that.
Who said it needs to be redeemed? Freiza turned out lamer but he was still revived as a villain. Also Piccolo, became good after a while despite his father being evil and killing Goku + Raditz. Maybe Piccolo and Vegeta can fight this time.

I'm just throwing it out there that it might happen because I otherwise don't see why it is Raditz is to come back after years of no one ever talking about or alluding to him. Toei's fanservice in this series is just them reaching the bottom of the barrel at this point.

Piccolo was handled by Toriyama himself, not a fan rubbing elbows with him. Haven't been keeping up with Super since Goku Black, but if what @20 Mule Team Lorax says is true that a near-retcon has happened involving Bardock wishing the best for his sons, anything is possible at this point that will just fuck up this franchise further.

Raditz is a fan-favorite, I get it, but why bother with him after all this time?

Maybe Piccolo and Vegeta can fight this time.
I'm all for this, but not gonna hold my breath over it.
