Like Whis, per Super's subtext that the Angels run everything and are the real power behind the "Gods", curses Goku so that the Dragon Balls of any shape or form can never resurrect him or his loved ones (IE the main cast) as punishment for genocide and to teach him a lesson at long last for not giving a fuck about the consequences of his actions. Maybe even destroy Goku's soul so that he can never feel any enjoyment for ANYTHING, especially fighting.

Ah, once again my boy Tien is left forgotten until he needs to be brought in for deus ex machina or filler. At least Piccolo is getting some extra attention.

Launch makes cameos in dbz, which episodes I forgot obviously. Other than that I don’t think Launch would be a good fit in a fighting game. Videl works in Fighterz but they had Gohan to help her out.
 
Launch did crowd control once, that's something.

Her only major appearance was at the beginning of the Saiyan Saga with Tien, in which he essentially tells her to go fuck herself without saying it. The rest are flashbacks and one little glimpse of Good Launch in the Buu saga. Pretty sure all of those were anime exclusive too.

That'd require Toriyama to not like Goku so much for being a silly happy-go-lucky person who acts before he thinks more often than not.

It's never gonna happen.

That’s the thing too though, if Goku had made the wish it would’ve been the same since Goku has a good heart and all that. 17 loosened up after the cell saga but why he made that wish I’m unsure.
 
Because as much as he wanted a boat, he wasn't really a selfish guy and knew that even if he got it, he'd probably get yelled at by his sister and brother-in-law over it, and probably doesn't think a boat is worth the death of entire universes?

Also he probably figured Bulma could give him a boat anyway, she has money.
