The chair-stealing shit gets to me. You stand up to take a piss or get a drink or something, and you come back and a hairball is sitting there, looking like, "Thanks for warming this spot with your fat ass, fatass. It's mine now. You gonna do anything about it, bitch?" Because they know we won't. We just go find some other spot to sit which will be less comfortable than our prior spot (or else we would have been sitting there in the first place).

Fucking bullying assholes.

This can classified as cruel and unusual punishment, but my cat learned to share the chair with me because whenever she stole the warm spot upon my return I would threaten to sit on her until she moved. Admittedly, we now end up splitting the chair 75-25 for her but I'll take what I can get.

I found old pics of Bethany on my old Macbook, so I'm gonna post some up in memorium. She was older than we thought, 21, and used to be a chonk a good decade ago. Our Momma Lump Cat. Used to be able to just cuddle with her when she was big.

Didn't think she'd have lived that long tbh but I hated how she had to go. At least she's not in pain anymore. Gave a food offering to her grave yesterday morning during breakfast time, don't know if I should continue that for a bit or not.

Here's the last batch of Thio pictures that I forgot to post here. This was also around the time when I was making my Vinny short.

Notice that Vinny was originally peach.

I adopted her today. So friendly right out of the carrier, perfect cat. She won't stop rubbing up on me.

Ah, what a nice thread. A welcome break from the infuriating insanity elsewhere.

Here are three of my five cats (It’s dangerous to be friends with someone who runs a cat rescue. That’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it!)

The little one in that picture, Firefly, (not so little any more), came to me as an emergency foster. She and her brother were found living rough aged 4/5 weeks, abandoned by their mother and with a nasty dose of cat flu. Her brother was too far gone and died in my arms that night, but Firefly bounced back, and, well, she just ended up staying.

The grumpy looking tabby was also an emergency foster. She was heavily pregnant at the time and gave birth the next day. Her five kittens were all successfully socialised and rehomed but Gooseberry proved resistant to all efforts. She wasn’t adoptable by anyone normal, so she just stayed with me. Loves her home comforts but despises people. Can’t say I blame her tbh!

Just the one given by the shelter (pretty fitting name) and thatd dox me. Schizo mode

I first read your post as ‘Schizo Mode’ being the name and I thought that was a fitting name for a cat. Even my super sweet and loving kitty has…Moments, lol!
Whatever the name is I’m sure it’s adorable/awesome!

Aww, she looks great.

Your pic inspires me, here's Egg with my 10-22:

It's impossible to get her to sit still for a picture.

She always has that surly look. She's got the cat equivalent of resting bitch face.

Her birthday is Tuesday and I'm going to have a little party. Gonna get some sardines for her and my other cat, Hotdog.

I would not trust that cat with that gun.
