This is my baby boy Shadow. He is a momma's boy who lets me squish him and is the softest thing ever.

I'm not going to dox my cat specifically because I put him on social media so much and that'd dox me by proxy. He looks kind of like this, but with white markings on his paws:

He's about 13 now, he was a rescue from a shelter. The shelter said he's a Maine Coon but I press X to doubt on that. He's generally aloof, only seeking out attention on his terms (purring for you if he wants you to watch him eat or do something for him). He wants to be near people on a "look don't touch" basis. He's a wonderful little bastard and the light of my life.

My semi feral rescue boy is getting very comfy inside. He also loves food and gets excited and messy when eating, as you can see from his face.

Apologies for the potato quality. Decided it was time to get a new kitty after my little buddy passed last year. Meet Buckley.

This is Bébé. I named her after the South Park character.

After crowd funding and multiple treatments, this sweet boy is crossing over today. He literally just had thousands of dollars in surgery last week, but his heart just can't keep going. He's getting sunshine and snuggles currently, he is being taken in later today.

I’m so sorry. It was good of you to try and give him another chance. I’m sure he had the best life.

Oh no! Poor baby. ;-;
But you did your best. You gave him everything you could, including lots of love. I’m sure he knows you love him and I’m sure he loves you.

Sending you my deepest sympathies during this tough time. Take time to mourn, it will all be okay, in the end you are doing what’s best for him <3

My kitty is hiding from me :'(

I just adopted her. I only got to feed her and pet her a little bit before she vanished into thin air. I hope she comes out soon. I think she's just scared of the new environment. Kinda disappointed tbh, but I'm sure she'll come around eventually.

ETA: Found her hiding place! She's still scared of me though so I'm going to give her some space.

You’re doing the right thing. My kitty Emma hid for a few days. I didn’t even see her, just heard her mewing. Finally after giving her those few days, I caught her and held her over my heart. She was purring in no time, stopped mewing, and from then on would come out for me. Usually. She’s still a cat. They’re just like that.

The boy crossed the rainbow bridge today instead of yesterday. He had a ton of people at his burial, he touched many lives in our community.
Love you, no pain now.
