TenNapel should tell everyone he's converted to Islam. Then they'll all be required to praise his belief in god, his disapproval of gays, and his lack of respect for differing beliefs, instead of condemning all of that as they do now.

And honestly? This just makes it better.
 
Given the recent salt about Doug TenNaple, it made me remember this footnote from my
Avatar the Last Airbender art book.

We modeled Due and Tho after fellow Nickelodeon show creators Doug TenNaple(Catscratch) and Carlos Ramos(The Xs). This followed a bitter caricature war between Carlos and the Avatar crew. If the design on Carlos seems unflattering, you should see some of the designs he did on us!

At the time I thought it was just workplace shenanigans among animators like how they'd do storyboard jams to relieve stress. The way they go on about Ramos, it feels like they might've omitted something about TenNaple...

Given Bryan Konietzko(co creator) is pretty openly left leaning, and Doug being right-leaning, I wonder if there was a political undercurrent at the time. The note says Konietzko was the one who drew the designs...

A shitty Kotaku article and a twitter slapfight. This is surprisingly entertaining for something that happens more often than a particle decaying.
 
Some aren't ready to give this up. Someone tried to keep the saltmine flowing on the Sonic Mania review.
Only slightly related to the original slapfight but I'm surprised the comment got approved for mass public viewing.
