It's hilarious among other things how TenNaple throws their passive-aggresive bullshit right back at them and they fail to see the irony at all at getting mad at him. "Look he's retweeting stuff that agrees with him! He thinks his opinions are better than ours! That MONSTER."

EWJ has gameplay flaws (well no shit, Yoshi's fucking Island has gameplay flaws), but the art is great and the animation is superb even by today's vidya standards. Guess what Doug contributed to the game?

Now guess what's more important to kotaku's bag of rainbow skittle bloggers, quality in a videogame, or identity politics and postmodernist spazzery? Yeah...

I doubt he was even trying to be offensive. He just saw a dude and called him he, like he is. If I saw that same dude, I'd just assume it was a dude with pink hair.

If anything, assuming somebody with pink hair is a woman who wears eyeliner would just reinforce gender stereotypes. And who's to say that Heather can only be a girl's name? I've seen guys named Shannon.

Just pointing out that the ultimate villain of Earthworm Jim 3D was the evil cross-dressing part of Jim's psyche and that he had to gather his "lost marbles" to stop them from taking over his subconscious.

I was curious at how this was presented and.. wow. That intro dialog sure is something. You'd think at least one of the people screaming at him about trans stuff would've brought this up.

The difference between sex and gender to some of these people is either flip-flopped, suiting them when convenient or they just don't really know. That said, nothing's preventing the fact that Earthworm Jim is a fictional character who would be bound by cartoon laws and not real life laws.
