The timeline according to 4chan's /vg/ board:

A Twitter personality named "Ashnichrist" details hilariously in this twitlonger about schmoozing with the infamously effete "Zyori", details include Zyori asking her nicely to lie about having sexual relations with him and to tell other people that lie. Ashni feeling that Zyori wasn't helping her career progression, even after inviting her to some esports events and giving Zyori some sympathy pussy. Zyori was previously known in the scene as a literal ball sniffer and looking like the ideal strawman soyboy creation from a Mike Judge animated series:

Near the same time and maybe posted before was OP's Cofactorstrudel's post about an individual being handsy and a drunk buffoon. That individual aplogoized but it brought out the wolves.


HISTORY OF GRANT - MINUSCULE EDITION


This individual is named "GrandGrant" and has literally been around the Dota scene as long as the original WC3 mod existed. Yes, literally has spent half his life playing, monitoring and being around the social circle of North American professionals: both players and talent. Now Grandgrant has had a bullseye mark on his ass since the early 2010's as he was a drunk brash autist who would sperg out saying racially inflammatory things, sexist phrases, and literally puking on stream from being so drunk. While still being a Walmart manager - he quit community college and rose the ranks of the House of Walton's - he managed to beat in a 1 v 1 a literal world champion Dota Player(Clinton Loomis). This video encapsulates his whole sperg enthusiasm for the game and his drunk antics.

Grant's combination of being a socially maladjusted nerd, crippling alcoholism, and poor impulse control allowed him to utter things that more refined professionals wouldn't have and especially since he wasn't tethered to working as "Talent" - he didn't quit Walmart and tried being full time talent until 2017-2018 iirc - in essence made him the truth serum of the community. The individual who projects the ID of the community. Now, Grant has gotten in to a tizzy with streamer "Llamadownunder" or Natalie Sharpe about the content she was producing. She was an objectively sub-par caster with an inflated sense of talent and very low self-esteem bordering on pathetic. LLamadownunder took criticism like a man with car battery sized open-wound who would push that wound on somebody's nose and say "Don't breathe on me or you're a bad person". It also didn't help that Llamadownunder would always talk about her "Girlfriend" but no one ever saw the "Girlfriend". The only time you would hear the girlfriend would be off-screen and purposely obfuscated.

4chan and/or Reddit devotees found out that the "Girlfriend" was a literal AGP troon who worked at Microsoft. This led to player "IXMIKE88" (No, he's not a nazi and has had that name before /pol/ was around) asking questions about the birth gender. Let's just say that she didn't take this very well:

Grant and Llama started to get into lawlsuits in Colorado, and both technically won. Anybody with Colorado civil court docket access could find the info. Please search "Grant Harris" and "Natalie Sharpe".

Grant decided to clean up his image around 2017 by getting sober, stopping racist/sexist sperg outs, and trying to be more positive. He also quite his Walmart manager job to be full-time talent. Before the full-time talent part, he would take vacation days to go to events as talent.

A cosplay model named "Wickeds Cosplay" or government name "Cortney Revell" was really pissed about the male talent being able to get away with "sexual violence". So she alluded that Grant has more skeletons in the closet and she will drop info on it the next day. She does and the story is of some friend of hers hanging out with Grant, getting blackout drunk with Grant - up till 2017, Grant was a serious alcoholic - and finding out her tampon in her cooter was moved(SRSLY). Alleged friend has trauma from this situation and tries to avoid Grant. Now a few months come by and Grant gets drunk talking about how he blacked out and tried to have sex with a chick on her period. Alleged friend decides to ask people around Grant, 'why is Grant talking about her alleged "sexual assault" drunk on cam', and Grant deletes the vod without ever talking about that incident again.

EXIT STAGE LEFT, GRANT

As Grant already had numerous people gunnin' for his head, and coincidentally his sponsor, Evil Geniuses, had multiple people they sponsored who were having bad publicity. Grant started to get shitcanned from his sponsor and got a letter banning him from being talent for most North American dota tornaments. He posted a farewell note, but that hasn't stopped the mob. They're now gunnin' for other socially maladjusted men who "wronged" them. Grant's message,
“I was the one who brought this upon myself and truly do apologize to the people I’ve hurt,” Grant said. “I’ll be leaving Dota and the Esports Scene for a long time if not permanently. I don’t want to make this about me though. I want to say, I hope the people who don’t feel safe do feel safer, and I hope Dota becomes an overall better esport over the upcoming years.”

I never would have thought DoTA 2 could come up with a drama more entertaining than Tyler1 getting bullied by the employee Sanjuro and Tyler's eventual comeback arc where Riot games had to kiss his ass on stage. Hopefully OP can weave these allegations into a more coherent story so I can properly laugh at it.

toby was THE face of pro dota, the guy has been commentating stuff since forever, and was generally considered the most entertaining one of them all. he did commentary on the grand finals of the very first TI, and many that followed.
