This is the kind of thing Donald has to stop doing, and people who know him try to reign him in.

Unless we move in with him, there's nothing to stop him or check him at the door and ask him to reconsider.
Donald probably sleeps 4 hours a night at most and he's out and about 20 hours a day.

He's in Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Victoria (On the island), even Whistler.

He got up at 4am to go to Victoria a couple days ago. That's a 40 minute bus ride to the ferry from where he lives
and the BC Legislature/Victoria city hall where he went doesn't open until 9am.

Even if you wanted to stop him, you'd have to be up all night camped outside his door.

At a minimum I believe an officer in Langley issued him that piece of advice/warning on the phone when Donald phoned up to find out about Jessica's call to them that evening. Donald's video yesterday suggests he may go anyway on December 5th. This is the kind of thing Donald has to stop doing, and people who know him try to reign him in. If he goes to that court appearance on the fifth he's already increasing his chances of a problem and potential for arrest given he's already been warned. If he gets *charged* for that it, the crown in Alberta could reactivate his stayed charges.

I told him not to go as well and said I'll go.

Personally I think the Yaniv thing is dead to the media and they won't be covering it at all.

95% of Jonathan's notoriety is outside of Canada.

The Extinction Rebellion protests have been a flop and the media are ignoring them now.

Climate strike groups are now busy spending all the donations on upgrades to their wardrobes, homes and cars and vacations
