The face isn't even accurate to his comic potrayal.

This game sucked. It's all like "lol penis and scrotum lol lol" and everyone wanting to rape my boring stupid asshole guy - Then at the end you almost trade your fat retard dog to the villian to rule the world something because you are that much of a cuck retard.

Everyone in this game is stupid and the story sucks and it's gay as hell.

Art style gave it away i immediately got vibes of Invincible and honestly i don't really like modern superhero stuff (too much deconstruction and trying to be "deep" instead of entertaining). Didn't know about the all star cast of youtubers until i got interested enough to look into it and i got even more cynical.

The game is more about redemption and forgiveness tbh.

You can also get rid of MoistCritikal for most of the game and the dispatching game is fun enough that people ask for an endless mode.

If the art style alone didn't give off red flags, the dialogue early on did the rest.

I finished it. Game isn't that bad, there's no dykes or fags in it. And no interracial couples too.
It's basically a VN with dispatching mini game sprinkled with some tits in it.
Coomers were also displeased about some sex scenes being cut, but it's fine as it is. Though, it can use some epilogue for the characters

Flambae is Gay. During the blackout he asks the Z team what he should text to a guy. Seems like they were subtle with it (if you ignore the near groin level cut of his suit) but its particularly egregious as he was born in Afghanistan.

They did a similar kind of thing with Royd. Average IQ of native Hawaiians is 87 but Royd is the super genius mechanic and scientist.

I started the thing yesterday and its not bad. which is surprising for me since i hated pretty much every tale tale game out there.
I like the option to turn of the QTE since i dont know a single game that made them good and having basically "papers please"-ish gameplay with the cartoon is more pleasant combo.
Main character isn't a pussy even though he has a quite thick plot armor. I did caught a whiff of the "modern audience" things but some of them almost felt like ragebait for people who are looking for woke shit.
Ive seen people compare the artstyle to the invincible but i didnt watched it and i vastly prefer it to the usual tale tale art style that i loathed/
Probably will finish it today i dont know how long it is but i have almost 6 hours in it so far.
edit also i mostly like the writing but over usage of curses and always talking about sex does make it sound kinda cringe

ok i did
i liked the ending (i got the goody two shoes one)
i totally see why the one romance option is vastly more popular than the other, the amount of screentime is just unfair.
i do have the question about the ending, is that option really just a coin toss?
the game definitely gets better as you play it, or should i say writing does and i will be looking forward towards what else will they do, but i dont think i will replay it to see other stuff

I "played" the first two episodes, and I'm not gonna bother with the rest. I remember why I didn't care about Telltale returning or their type of games popping up again. It's a fucking movie with choices that matter, except they don't unless you only see two choices. The gameplay beyond QTEs are braindead hacking games and a dispatch game, and I liked it, but it's not enough to justify that these companies fail to make choices matter.

I've seen the leaks of the choices/endings. It's all contigent on what romance you pick (Blonde Blazer or Invisigal) and if you kill or spare the main baddie (I forgot his name).

The only time I've seen these "choices matter" games done right are the big budget ones that have the resources to make a wide array of endings are Detroit: Become Human and The Quarry. I'll watch the full movie when all of it comes out and continue to watch people bitch about which lady they like more.
I think calling them Trolley Problem Simulators is a good one to do. They aren't inherently bad, but they aren't games. Just interactive movies with an occasional Trolley Problem the devs mistakingly call gameplay.

And much like the Trolley Problem, the choice doesn't matter because there is no real correct answer, just an illusion where bad things happen regardless of what choice you pick.

Counterpoint: I got to set a gay asshole's eyebrows on fire and knock out one of his teeth while laughing when his car got wrecked by a depressed white heterosexual god
also chopped off two of his fingers, don't forget that.

I finished the game its way better than I thought it was gonna be, like several orders of magnitude better. I think its way better than invincible AND suicide squad and just a really good solid standalone. The humor is mid at the first few episodes (being mostly crude humor and saying fuck a lot) but it picks up extremely fast, becoming far funnier than everything marvel has released in the last 10 years and just being genuinely funny on its own. The characters are all super likable and the writing is actually stupidly good, especially by superhero standards, but even as a standalone.

What's the craziest thing though is that the gameplay is actually good. Like "not good for a telltale game", straight up just good as a standalone. Its actually fun and creative, and requires you to think and strategize and plan and is ridiculously entertaining while being interwoven extremely well with the story which is why people are asking for an endless mode.

I would totally recommend 10/10.

The one gay character is a literal flaming faggot? Surely that’s intentional on someone’s part.
