not even the times the writers wanted logan to get into jean's pants?
damn.
well, Logan can have her, Cyclops moved on to the far superior and more fleshed out character, Emma Frost, hell, he might be with Emma now longer than he ever was with Jean...

First time playing a telltale game eh?
No, just pointing it out as one of the reasons Telltale went under in the first place. People are ignoring this flaw because the story and dispatch gameplay are good, but if they continue making these types of games they're going to have to deliver on both a gameplay and story front because eventually people are going to grow tired of it again.

Lack of choice isn't bad if the story holds up.

Issue is when the story gets rewritten days before release and people doing retard IQ choices.

Like we didn't spend five episodes choosing between Luke & Kenny only for the final choice being Jane or Kenny.

Or Mike being supposed to be the bandit from e1 which you give water to.

So much scrapped content and the employees being forced to please a retarded too edgy for u rape factory writer.

I liked the ending. But what I really liked was that last dispatch session!! It should've been like that all the time! The area getting bigger and then having a Boss fight felt really cool.

Trying not to read comments so I don't spoil myself before the ending, but two things:

1) PLOT RELEVANT HOT GIRL TOPLESS NUDITY. The fucking madmen did it.

2) [GLASS HIM]

Aside from Shroud's hostage situation which magically made all his goons regain their strength as well, I found the ending to be rather satisfying, glad Shroud wasn't some twist villain like some people thought. It did the expected thing where no matter what choices are made multiple primary events still happen at the end, but it still felt like some of the stuff I did actually meant something from Point A to Point B which is one of the important things, like Waterboy having to come in clutch to help out in Episode 8 to emphasize how the situation is that fucking bad and all hands no matter how small gotta be on deck. The final dispatch segment was really great though, would have been a perfect blueprint for an endless mode.

Argh. It's as bad as you think it is.
I went into this with some optimism thinking it would get better. Nope. The dialog still has fuck every 3rd line and the grossout became more noticeable in the final episode too. For instance the game hypes up a cyber augmented villain coming for Robert after SDN is attacked. He hides and the villain instead gets locked out of the restroom. Visi knocks him out and the game forces either Robort or Visi to put away his dick for some reason.
Shroud loses his powers due to inserting the wrong pulse and everyone throws up due to backlash or something. I was fine when the grossout was contained to one episode a week so it wasn't as noticeable but if I'm complaining like it's some western cartoon from the 90s that focuses way too much on bodily functions, then the writers really wanted it in the game for some reason.
Oh and the game just got 10k positives reviews on steam. They said that it had sold over a million copies in it's first 10 days and VG Insights says it hit over 200k in the last 24 hours. I think an S2 will come sometime.

Kick Sonar off the team, Charlie is an absolute bad VA. His transformation between jobs also makes him harder to handle than Coop. She can get flying training and provides +3 to a stat when needed. She's the better choice. And Phonomamaon over Water Boy. Water Boy forces himself on a job and his VA is annoying. Visi's romance likewise went nowhere so go for Blazer instead.

Gross.
Don't get me wrong I liked the game, but I KNOW the wrong lessons will be taken from this game. Get ready for a the industry to start putting even more youtubers in games and games releasing in parts.

S2 will suck. They'll Joker 2 it up.

So after finishing it, all I can say is that: It was fine, maybe even good if they didn't fuck up with the pacing. The characters are all fine, even though they fucked up with having no character arcs. But I did like Robert, its fresh to finally have an MC that isn't too snarky or stupid, an everyday man that can throw hands. Episode 7 was shit, felt like a waste of time since nothing really happens. Shroud's motivation was stupid, like actually autistic, then again people that are good with numbers usually have 'tism. That last Dispatch was really fun though, and definitely was kino. The part that really made me laugh was after Spirit bombing that nigga, he somehow gets super speed and dognaps Beef and using him as a hostage. It felt like that the devs really wanted you to hate him because he was going to kill the heccin' doggo!!!!

Another stupid thing was Visi lying to the player not once, not twice, but three fucking times. And because she jumps infront of the bullet she is forgiven. And thats another problem, the devs felt scared with killing people. but one thing that this game has, which is surprising, has christian themes in it. All about forgiving. Even going out of its way to show you the cross in that car scene.

Would I recommend it? Yeah, but not a full price. I'm happy with the ending I got. So no need to replay it. You did do the right thing, right?realhumaneab.png

Finished the game and it was alright, I wish the gameplay and story had more overlap. My Dispatch skills should have translated atleast somewhat to stort because Robert can either be the second coming of Christ solving every problem perfectly or a bumbling moron sending the Z team out to die and it doesn't really change much. Liked the story and redemption aspect besides weird "she was a double agent all along" reveal where apparently Invisigirl stealing the spark, saving Robert, and planting a literal bomb on Shroud's face was all within plan despite all that only hindering him.

You can powerlevel Waterboy in a single shift to replace MoistCritikal's fursona.

He can be removed once from Dispatches and he synergizes with Malevola's healing or Punch Up's injured form.

Meanwhile Phenomaman shits himself if a mission fails or is missed.

Of course my choice of going for BB/Mandy might've influenced my decision.

Ending was fun, they could have put a bit more into the animation but hey. Main complaint would be the 'guy gets out of mech crash and has dog somehow' bit. We have a guy who can fly as fast light, I think that would solve the problem. Although the 'give 2 pulses' choice was fun.

Looks like they went with the "1 main ending with 2 moderate variations'? If you chose to do the double pulse gambit or give it to him straight up with some of it changed by who you romanced.

Season 2 wouldn't be a good idea for this game with the endings they give, unless they go the Telltale route making the hero/villain Invisigal decision meaningless.

Finished it. Kinda railroady, but it was fine. Kinda wondering how the fuck 45% of players romanced invisigal, but only 1% woke up her heroic spirit or whatever. Part of "I can fix her" is, y'know, actually fixing her ya dorks.

Only really big complaint I have is that mechaman fucking sucks. His W/L ratio is in tatters and hes treading fraud territory.

I'm a huge waterboy hater, but I have to point out that if you dont pick him, he and Robert end up having a great scene together in the last dispatch that makes him the only character with a well written character arc.

He and Phenomoman also synergize well, PM being able to double the amount of missions WB can go on, helping him max his level easy. Shame they dont have a team up.

If it says 1% it's probably a bug, it's been happening since the first episode. This is what my pirated copy says so it's probably not up to date but still:

Yeah he really should have had one good win against the mooks or Toxic before Shroud shows up. All of it felt a little rushed.

I actually quite enjoyed this game, but as soon as I saw the dumb dog in Ep1 I knew they'd pull a john wick.

Bro literally every hero surrendered (after beating the crap out of everyone, I hate this trope of, we're about to win! oh no suddenly we're not for no reason) because a fat old ass dog was being held to ransom.

This is a mass murderer, why are you going to give him the power to basically become the most powerful villain ever (on paper being able to predict everything would be insanely strong) because of a dog? Your putting thousands of human lives on the line for a dog and everyone is like "yeah this is fine".... WTF.

THAT is reddit tier Le HecKIn DoGgO!!! shit.

One thing I did dislike was I felt the villain wasn't fleshed out enough, his motive was a bit lacking, but then again this is a super hero romance VN so you can't expect too much.
