It would probably be too on the nose considering how many conspiracies have been shown to be true and how anything that goes against the current talking points quickly gets labeled as a conspiracy. There's no notion of nuance these days and a game that explores conspiracies with govternment and corporate happenings requires a receptive audience of which there appears to be little of.
There's actually a good market for that type of game (conditioned on the premise the game mechanics aren't abject shit). The issue is the amount of shit you would encounter and deal with on a daily basis probably would make the profit off of it not really worth it. It'd be as bad as how the farms deals with retard fuckery online but also in person.
I'll say it. The reboot DX was my favorite of any cover based shooters. I'd be happy if they just remade the first game with the graphics and mechanics of the reboot.
Fuck Squeenix all and all, and my heart goes out to the many Deus Ex fans who were hoping a good entry in "le current year." Plus, I'm still not holding my breath for whatever Embracer's doing with Eidos/CD IPs, including Deus Ex

There are enough newer conspiracy theories to set the stage for the next Deus Ex. Certainly doable but would most likely be seen as unsavory by the larger powers that be.
