Often the "wrong" decision they make is just because they followed the directions of a higher court that they were obligated to follow. Until the higher court changes its mind, they're bound by that. So why should they be punished for following the law as it is and not as they may wish it were?
Actually they can and when they do commit crimes normies would also be punished for, they're generally removed from the bench. The occurrence of such events is so rare that when it actually does happen, it's generally a big news story.

Not too sure I believe this. I understand where your logic comes from, but when someone constantly loses then gains the weight back, it's extremely hard on one's heart. He already has heart issues due to his excessive weight, sedentary lifestyle and award winning drug abuse issues, he is already playing on borrowed time.

Real talk: If (God forbid) Ralph goes to prison for something, how is he supposed to pay child support? And would a prison sentence have any impact on whether or not he’d be forced to follow a court order and pay Mr. Lowry? Reading up on this, it turns out to be more complicated than I thought. It varies state by state and seems to have changed recently in a lot of places to go a little easier on the incarcerated. It used to be that by and large going to prison was considered "voluntary" unemployment or underemployment in this context (similar to taking a job that pays well underneath your previously demonstrated ability to earn) so you got no relief. Nowadays, at least in Virginia, if you go away for more than 180 days you can petition for an adjustment of what you owe in light of the circumstances.
