Yeah, I appreciated Stipo's unused/beta content videos because that kind of shit always interests me. It's one of my autistic fascinations.
That being said, so much for all that documentation and preservation bullshit, if you're willing to just discard everything crying like a bitch because daddy Capcom didn't give you a free game for having a Youtube channel please step into oncoming traffic, thank you.

Imagine having a Patchy The Pirate meltdown over this.

EDIT: Apparently he's also a mod on this Reddit? So expect this to be removed by tomorrow probably. If anything that'll just make it funnier.

Well, with the videos brought back, I backed up everything just in case. This big manbaby can leave the internet tomorrow and nothing of value will be lost.
I guess his big plan was to become a Capcom influencer in the end, so I was right. I could see the mask slipping off here or there just by casual observation, but with the amount of ass kissing I've seen from Dead Rising fans to his big "mental health" post I can't even care that much. This retarded fandom gets exactly what it deserves, and they consider Stipo "the best they got".
Speaking of Stipo, while I was backing up his videos and browsing /v/, I did notice something peculiar being posted:
1723610091388.jpg
Apparently this is now a deleted video of his. He has been known to private his videos even before his meltdown, and sure enough I did look up the video in question and it was unavailable(not sure if privated or deleted).
While backing up his videos, I CAN confirm he does indeed own the book, he shows it off in this video:
He talks about it about 1:40 into the video and confirms that he made a video on it earlier. That video does not exist, so I am guessing that's our video here. I don't know the history of this book or how Stipo got it, but I did see this post going around /v/, and when you look up this artbook on Ebay, it is STILL on sale, for cheap right now. Apparently, there is a ton of artwork that hasn't been documented, probably interviews and development trivia in Japanese, but I can't find scans of this anywhere. Stipo did upload a few pages from the artbook, but that was only the taste and I cannot find any proof that he ever dumped the whole thing. Knowing him, he's likely hoarding it because it makes him feel special.

I would like to buy this book myself and then scan every single page for preservation purposes, but unfortunately my money is tight right now. If you're big on Dead Rising and you have some money burning in your pocket, well all I am going to say is that Stipo will not be giving us anymore screenshots of what's there. The big preservationist has big plans to become to Dead Rising what Suzy aka Sphere Hunter is to Resident Evil in the Capcom shilling community, he has no time for preservation or documentation anymore. Right now I am seeing books as low as 40+$ on Ebay while unopened ones with a sleeve go for nearly 700$, so consider this a tip before they get rarer(you know scalpers will buy Dead Rising anything to artificially inflate prices once the game comes out in a month).

Oh, I don't think anyone has posted this, here is the new stats hud. You want to talk soulless, there it is.

Kind of hard to do that when you're showing old beta content (developers hate that shit with a passion) and only talking about one of their games. If you want to be a shill like troon Hunter you have to be constantly flagellating almost everything they make, and it has to be new shit too.

Dead Rising 2 remake is going to be interesting. For anyone who doesn't remember that game it's set in Vegas and they cranked the b horror movie exploitation stuff to 11. There's tons of topless zombies, zombie showgirls, porno theatres, dildos, ect.

They'd have to gut 70% of it to make it compliant with modern DEI standards.

And that game was made in 2010, how did shit get so bad in only a single decade?

There is so much more that would have to go. There more on top of that.

Don't forget they changed the retarded butcher from in 1, that means they might have to change this man as well.

The retarded tiger keeper. Then again he white so they might not touch him.

Then there is also Randy who despite being white and a sex pest might hit too close to home for these DEI freaks.

Those 2 are just off the top of my head, no saying what else I have forgotten about DR2 that wouldn't be considered Cash money to the DEI crowd that neither of us thought us yet.

Isn't Randy essentially an incel? That's one of the few demographics progressives still find acceptable to go after and mock.

Yeah but he makes women depowered, which might just be enough to stroke the DEI tards into changing him in some way.

So I downloaded and installed DR1 for a nostalgia hit.
It's perfectly ok to play even though it's 20 years old. I don't see any reason to pay 50 bucks for an edited remake. Am I missing something?

Yes, DR1 has the gull to exist, and thus needs to be molded and changed to fit how insane people think.

Aside from that no.

I honestly don’t think he wants to be an influencer, I think he’s just severely hyper fixated on Dead Rising and let it get to his head that since it’s all he’s focused on for over a decade, Capcom MUST know who he is… right??? It’s like a guy who shows up to every NFL game involving a certain team, then getting upset the quarterback doesn’t recognize him.

I hate Capcom. Squenix at least has the courtesy to compromise with the pirates and hackers, which actually works out the best for them in all respects. Games come with Denuvo, but, they remove it almost exactly 6 months from the day of release without fail. This means that hackers have no interest in wasting months cracking something that is going to have the crap removed in 6 months, so no one even bothers. The people that must have a game day-1 have to pay full price. Squenix has their game protected for its most financially important period of time, the first 6 months after release, and they don't have to keep paying for Denuvo beyond 6 months when it doesn't make any sense from a financial perspective. The people that believe in paying for games but hate Denuvo can buy the game after 6 months. Pirates have to wait 6 months, and then they can pirate to their hearts content, they will seethe for 6 months, but in the end, they get what they want. Denuvo makes some money, but doesn't get as much as they would for perpetual coverage of a product.

Somehow, Squenix manages to create a unicorn situation with their approach. Everyone gets something, no one gets everything, and in the end, everyone gets what they want. If every other company out there used Squenix's approach it would literally solve the most serious problems for everyone involved.

Not taking Squenix's approach makes it obvious a company is run by assholes and is only interested in all out war with everyone that doesn't agree with their implementation of shitware.

If your favorite gaming company takes the approach of leaving Denuvo on their games, consider contacting them on social media or e-mailing them the writeup above. If they choose not to implement it after reading the above, it proves they are assholes.

For screaming and acting like a spoiled brat, he was rewarded with a possible review copy. To put this into prospective, this retard has years upon years of development history ranging from different alpha/Beta builds of the game that he will not release due to ego and selfishness. Gets told that he will not receive a review code due to the fact that he hasn't uploaded a video in over a year, lacks a big audience and said audience that will already buy the game if they're subscribed to a channel dedicated to said game, and he is also known to data mine. Privates his twitter, tells Capcom to go fuck themselves, privates every single video that he has made, threatens to kill himself over a mediocre remaster that even the shills like Gmanlives and tranny pornstar/Anthony Cumia sex toy Sue Lightning said that the game isn't that good.

Two hours before this discord comment, he was crying about his "mental health" stating that it was a tough year, and the thing to break him was not being able to play a game 1 month early. He goes on to say he will not be returning to the dead rising community. The same community that helped build his niche channel. Don't be surprised if he deletes his channel again after this, so if you are interested in the history of DRs development history be sure to archive his videos because i'm sure he is going to blow up again soo.

If STip0 happens to read this thread, there is always someone there to help you with your mental health and this video from a professional mental health psychiatrist Dr. Sparrow will help you get through it

It would be one thing if he was able to reasonable argue his case with capcom and explain his intense passion for the original and his work towards the preservation and sharing of its many versions during development...

But no, he got what he wanted just so he could shut up and keep the bad PR at bay, lord knows we dont know how mentally fucked he is atm so I'd bet Capcom didnt want to risk the moron killing himself and pinning it on them.
There was this really great video I found once that dove into the absolutely absurd shit show of direction Blue Castle / Capcom Vancouver went through when trying to develop DR4 and the odds they were at with the Japanese company the whole time but I can't find it. It was crazy, they pitched like five completely different versions of DR4 before we got what we got and it was unironically probably the best thing they landed on.

I could be wrong but iirc, one of the ideas had DR4 being set between DR2 and 3 and would possibly explain where Frank was during the events of 3. Ngl, if they had to make a sequel, it was best to set it in the many years between 2 and 3 since we arent given that much light on how things got the way they did in 3.

When you make a cure for the zombies, it really should be the end as now there cant be another outbreak without some bs excuse like we had in DR4 where apparently the new zombos are immune to Zombrex and the cure conveniently. Nvm that they completely ignored the Isabella turning evil cliffhanger.
This is a video that explains the Survivor AI: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKyxD8mB5do
Some survivors are aggressive, others are cowardly. This determines their willingness to go into hordes, cry, run away from danger, and actually use weapons. Some extremely aggressive survivors need to be reminded that they're not there to kill zombies. Most of the time survivors come in pairs, one is labeled 'dependent' on the other, meaning they follow their paired survivor and NOT Frank. Speaking of following Frank: Waypoints getting reset confuses the AI. They won't move to their new marker until their old marker has been reached.
Ultimately though, when time comes to deposit the survivors, the ledge is insurmountable. Your best bet is to knock a couple survivors down/pick them up to stop them from slamming into each other all the time.

I recall someone saying that pointing to where the survivors should go is more effective than having them follow Frank. Its not a perfect solution but it has them behaving far less stupid.

Dead Rising 2 is absolutely going to be defanged, that's why it will either be a complete shell of itself or be a brand new game altogether. Now that they rebooted the whole thing, they finally have an excuse to make a "true" Dead Rising 2, without the "Western Influence"...never mind that DEI and ESG are the definition of Western Influence in your games, or that Inafune and rest of Capcom Japan were closely monitoring Blue Castle Games the entire development of the game.
It's best to wait for the inevitable Resident Evil 5 remake and the shitshow that will become. They might also completely wipe the slate clean and set it somewhere else with a new story, so I guess we will have our answer when that is unveiled.

So I downloaded and installed DR1 for a nostalgia hit.

Dead Space was another unnecessary remake. I'm sure the remake has its virtues, but Dead Space is not just playable, it also looks good for its age. How about a remake of Dead Space 3 where they remove its many glaring story and gameplay issues? Fat chance. Fuck you.

The only problem I ever had with Dead Rising was being unable to move whilst aiming. At the time, as a young teenager, I hated it, it turned me off the game, but eventually I learned to be patient and dealt with it. Now it is a charming addition. Sometimes a limitation is an overall benefit.

Why modernise everything? I know they have run out of ideas but some of these games aren't even old. I understand the Alone in the Dark remake. The original is dated, especially compared to Silent Hill 1. There is a reason for it. But Silent Hill 2 is still playable and age has made its jankiness endearing. It adds to the affect. You can not replicate something that was first never intended.

The Resident Evil 2 remake was great and a lot of fun and achieved that rare feat in modern gaming, a compelling single player campaign, but it was a real pandora's box for this crap. All now shall be remade. All shall be well. We shall return to the past when stories were simple but had genuine depth, when budgets and teams were small, and when talent trumped equity. That is simply not happening until the market crashes and people crawl out of the rubble.
