Oh god...three fucking minutes of fumbling with the controller? How, how, HOW does it not cross your mind to EDIT THAT SHIT OUT. Leaving in bumbling around aimlessly and yelling at the game is one thing, but that's just dead air! Even for Phil, that's stupid.

Editing takes effort. It's much easier to just cut off every video at set times and save the rest for a next video. Therefore, he'll think his method is better.

Although Phil's performance is to be expected by this point, this video contains one instance where Phil failing is actually, legitimately, the game's fault.

You know, all these DSP videos have kinda got me thinking about my own attitude when I'm frustrated with a game. Before these vids, I too would find myself blaming the game whenever I got extremely frustrated. A recent example would be Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. I found myself getting so frustrated with it that I often called the card system stupid and annoying to deal with, when really, it's my fault for not knowing about the system's finer points.

I like to think it's natural to want to blame something for your mistakes, but with Phil, he does it constantly, records his behavior, and puts it up on the internet for all to see. Which doesn't paint him in a very good light.

I may have never played Skyward Sword, but I'm pretty sure you're supposed to slash the blue lines and I think the gust bellows aren't for combat.

To be honest, I hate PewDiePie. To me, his videos aren't funny and he's terrible at being overdramatic. Now DarksydePhil is funnier. Why? Because he is the genuine article of an idiot - he's in a severe state of denial and can't own up to how much he fails at everything.

Only DSP videos I don't like watching are the ones where his chat tells him how to do everything - then it's not really him playing, and there's less tard rage. His SF videos are the best; he gets comeuppance inside of 30 seconds every time...

He's hitting Chris levels of denial here. He's seriously delusional enough to think that all these anti-Phil videos are a bunch of 'trolls and haters'.

I can't do this. I can't watch DSP videos without getting confused and angry.

I recently got into fighting games about a year ago, and I always loved watching tournaments, and joining communities to learn more. I never heard of this guy in the fighting game tournaments, so I decided to do a quick google search. From what I read, the most recent win was a evo east in 2006 or 2007, also from what I read dsp is the voldemort of the Fgc, he must not be named. Any fighting game vet who's involved in the community, if you could give me some more info I'd be morning happy to learn about it.

@ homerbeoulve. - are we talking about fire emblem awakening on lunatic mode? I don't even think he could make it past the chapter 1. Also this'll sound noobish but how hard are the earlier FEs compared to awakening? I'm not too experienced with jrpgs

Fire Emblem games in it's overall entity. Fire Emblem, even in easy mode is hard as fuck if you don't know any the fuck you're doing. As for the history of the FE franchise prior to Awakening, well three words: "Hard as hell".

Since your last post on this thread said Fire Emblem is hard as hell. How much are you willing to bet he plays it, fails the first area or two a few times and gives up, blaming the developers for "making a hard buggy game"?

Well, his xcom videos betray that he's not very good at turn based tactical strategy games, so I don't think fire emblem would go much better.

after watching the fail montages made of him, it occurred to me that this guy should really play Mobas like LoL, Dota2 and HoN. There are a few reasons for this:

1. Mobas while they look simple are in reality really complex and team oriented. DSP would just see this as a easy point and click game, and then jump into multiplayer with so much as even looking at the tutorial and practicing on bots first. Which leads to....

2. Mobas in general are notorious for having the most unfriendly community in gaming. When Dsp joins a game wnd is getting killed constantly well....let's iust say the messages sent to him will be even nastier than the ones he receives in the fgc.

Actually the fail montages people make of him with snarky comments make watching him fun. This is one of my all time favorite comments on one of his vids:
