Sadly, (or perhaps happily, depending on your viewpoint) his PS3 died partway through the game and he lost his save. One of his fans however, is supposedly speed running through the game all the way up to the point DPS was at and is going to send him the save file.

The rage of a thousand suns is building up inside me.

How do you fail at playing Kingdom Hearts? The game virtually plays itself.

Sephiroth would like to have a word with you.

But yeah, other than that, the game really isn't very difficult. I was kinda annoyed when Phil was complaining about how he wouldn't know where to go in Deep Jungle when the game clearly told him through cutscenes. If he actually paid a-fucking-tention to the game, he wouldn't need the stream chat to tell him what to do.

I think what happened was when he was a kid playing Earthbound or Super Mario World or whatever, his parents just bought him all the strategy guides, so he never had to figure anything out, just had to look it up. As a result, that habit got so ingrained that he's incapable of actually paying attention to a video game; he just wants to read where to go and what to do.

Also, how much do you want to bet that when he LPed Earthbound, he turboed through the Runaway Five show? Seriously, you don't do that.

I'll admit, as a kid, I would always get the strategy guide for a game. Not just because they helped me through a game (that's definitely a big part of it though) but in a way, they allow me to experience the game when I'm not actually playing it. I remember spending a lot of time just reading the guides since I was only allowed to play games for a certain amount of time.

I think at some point I was able to memorize the order of all the original 150 Pokemon because I read through the guide so many times.

Now-a-days, since guides are a bit redundant thanks to the internet, I don't buy or use them anymore. Now, I try to make it a habit not to use a guide for a game unless I'm really stuck.

DSP getting disqualified for trying to record a vlog at a fighting game tournament, then throwing a temper tantrum at the announcer.

He then blamed the announcer for being bugged.

What exactly was the guy saying after he told DSP to stop recording? And what did Phil mean by "Where am I playing? You still haven't told me!"

An old one and you can see this in some DSP Tries It videos I guess, but anyway, someone double perfected DSP.

lol, he accused him of cheating in sf4? Wow. I don't know why he can't just admit that he got beaten. Then again, he's gutter trash at most games he played, and he thinks he's good at those too.

I kinda want to see how he'd do in games like dota 2 or league of legends.

A video of him trying LoL exists but it's not very interesting. It's just him doing a little bit of the tutorial to test out a new camera he bought back when he was still doing camcorder LPs.

In other news...

With him starting Wind Waker HD, this is gonna be a very bad LP.

Well, I guess that if I'm gonna watch a video pointing out how not to play Wind Waker, I better get some popcorn. Can't wait to see him complain about using the boat to get to islands.

Re: DarksydePhil (DSP for short)

Well DSP is currently back on track with his KH playthrough, so expect a second part to the "This is how you DON'T play Kingdom Hearts" video.

Why? Just... WHY??

"WHAT, YOU DIE INSTANTLY FROM TOUCHING THE LAVA"

Classic DSP logic

In his defense, that was the worst boss in the game. But yeah, lava kills dumbass.

I was just thinking that's a really unhelpful camera angle. You can barely see the damn platforms.
