These people get to work in games, which is what they want, but they complain about the pay. Why didn't they learn to code? Why didn't they learn to draw? There's a skillshare ad on half the Youtube channels. Get some skills!
But the mismanagement in the gaming industry is also comical. They really should let QA communicate with the people who are in charge of fixing the bugs. You have to trust your people and listen to them. These AAA studios never seem to understand that, regardless of if they're run by suits or former game designers.
I was at Kotaku for reasons, and well...
Stupid Cat Game is going to be all over twitter and reddit with people posting videos of their cats pawing at the screen. AAA studios will start putting cats in games to follow around their lesbian protagonists. Kotaku will run articles titled "White Supremacists Have A Problem With Aloy's Pussy (Yes, Really)".

How are we supposed to escape the infinite poz at this point? I've set limits on myself, going back to around 2008 and earlier just to avoid seeing a bunch of flagrantly faggot characters. I've avoided reading most everything online about games in general. I've limited myself on Steam to only games in my backlog because I don't even want to run across another Dream Daddy Date Fuck Sim on Steam.
Yet, it's not enough. Everything gaming related has become pozzed. Don't believe me? How does a game distribution service from fucking Poland even get pozzed to this degree?
If we're to believe Wikipedia, they're one of the strictest countries in the EU on gay rights, yet here we are.
Now, I know the typical response to this is just to switch hobbies, that this has always been a fag infested hobby and it always will be. My response to that is go to a book store. The legendary "just read books bro" has been replaced by women and queers flocking to the newest LGBT book table. Used bookstores have pushed old, pulpy adventure and crime novels out and replaced them with women/queer literature. It's just as bad, if not worse.
People want to pretend that they can just pivot away from what was their main hobby since childhood. Just become a woodworker, bro, like come on, it's manly. Do you honestly give a shit about woodcarving? Do you? I haven't met a single person in my life that truly did it beyond having the tools and claiming they did. I wish I could become a dude that watches axe reviews on YouTube and cuts down trees for fun, but that's just never going to happen.

The issue is is that so many are demoralized, and always fighting a rearguard action, always retreating, always giving way. Why not present a pitched battle to fight back, a campaign to take items of importance, and a cultural theater of war to snatch back entire industries, interests, hobbies?

The reason people don't seem to be trying is simply because we're banned everywhere. They've completely blocked it out. We'll always have the old games, and it's not difficult to get them without spending, but new games coming out that aren't pandering on purpose are almost non-existent. It's just the truth. The only option would be to "make ur own gaemz", but I have a life outside of my hobbies, which are supposed to be for enjoyment and relaxation. I'm not going to pivot into being a game dev now to fix the issue.
There's no way to stand up and fight back, because all of the platforms are controlled, alt-tech isn't taking off, and the distribution services themselves are actively in on the subversion. There's never been a time when people have actually given an example of how to fight back. Make YouTube videos 8 times a day like the Quartering about how pandering is stupid? Make sure you keep it milquetoast enough to stay on YouTube. Post epic gamer rants on Odyssee that might see 5 views in 6 months? Bitchute?
I'm not trying to target you specifically or anything, I'm just saying there's no real way to "push forward" and take anything back when the people concerned with these issues are immediately banned from everything, sterilized as though we don't exist, and those that aren't savvy enough to notice are just absorbing the propaganda in things like Sony exclusives and are none the wiser.
Hell, the Domina dev who was doing some fighting back got banned off everything except Steam for talking about how men can never be women, without even having uploaded anything onto them. He was banned from bandcamp, for posting his thoughts in his games Steam patch notes. That's what we're facing, corporations with 99.9% market shares that don't even begin to budge when an alt-tech company challenges it.

While I kind of agree with the overall sentiment, if you're going that far I think you might be the problem.
On steam you can block the LGBTQ+ tag. Even without that, did you act this way when you saw those cringy christian games back in the day, or did you ignore them to get the next Metal Gear Solid?
They did. You even listed one right there. It's just you don't want to take the options provided because that would require a modicum of effort.
I'm fine missing out on new AAA games because AAA games offer me nothing. I'm not like ResetEra where missing out on "the zeitgeist" or "the conversation" is far more important to them than having a good time.
I know many here consider Razorfist to be a lolcow, but his video on the subject is one that you should listen to.

Tbf I get the idea that he's referring to games that pander to said groups in general in which case I'd have to agree with him.
It's pretty hard to find a game that isn't "woke" especially given that even "based" Japan removed the words "male and "female" and made everything available to both "bodytypes" in all their current titles and good luck with western AAA gaming and this is just on the character creation side! Also the Christian fundies never really had a massive sway in gaming culture, even when I was growing up most developers simply ignored them and that simply isn't the case here.
At the very least the ESRB could play catch up and make it more apparent to potential buyers what they're getting into but that isn't gonna happen either it seems.

This, exactly. Games have moved rapidly away from normalcy. Indies didn't fix this issue, yet everyone cites indies as the savior. People have forgotten that AA games even existed. We didn't have to dodge Christian fundie games, I never even knew about a good portion of them until the mid-00s internet was digging them up to laugh. Telling me that's the same as LGBT games, or simply pozzed games in general, is disingenuous. I'm not even blackpilled, yet it's the leap that people make every time it comes up about video games. Pretend there's no issue all you want, pretend there's based af ultra super redpilled game devs out there fighting the good fight, they're not.
Outside of my hobbies, I have a full and fulfilling life. My point is that this system people are purporting to work isn't working. People don't even look anymore. People take silence to mean people don't support this shit or slip it in. They don't look at anything outside of game marketing before dropping another bunch of cash. If, and I mean a very small if, these people that makes games aren't pozzed hard, their publishers are, and they're getting pushed towards homogeneous pozzing themselves.
It's the same arguments every time, but I bet you if you look a bit behind the curtain, you'll be shocked to find that it's spread everywhere, and you just have a much higher poz resistance than people like me, which I suppose for your sake is a good thing.
Even the games for history obsessed Nazi larpers are pozzed to the brim now, and people are still going "you're not looking hard enough, elect politicians, make your own game, indies saved the gaming market!"

No they haven't. Most publishers since Call of Duty don't see them as viable. Everything has to make Call of Duty 4 money, or it's considered an obscure failure. Films have the same problem. There are no mid budget films any more, you either watch 250 million dollar capeshit, or you're watching some student film made for $5 and a hand me down camera.
Then there's the argument of what is a "AA" or "middle market" game. Do FromSoftware games count? How about Nier, Bayonetta, or Riftbreaker?
There is a problem with those lamenting the death of the middle market and want it back is being unwilling to support AA games when they do appear for asinine reasons.
How is not working? Looking at comic books again, do you think Disney is agressively cutting costs at their parks and adding advertisements to Disney+ because they're making money? The ESG piper will have to be paid some day.
There's a phrase I like when it comes to this. "If you beat a dog, you can't blame it for flinching when you raise your hand." At the same time, it's possible to oversensitive to this stuff. You see this with old games that are considered "woke" or "based" by today's standards despite being fairly normal back then.

So, we give options, and each one is systematically shot down not with legitimate complaints, but with dumb complaints that make the motive of the blackpilled clear. Let's look at two suggestions as examples. Play japanese games, and play older games. Instead of legitimate issues, they just complain about "mah grafix" or say that Japanese games are "weeb shit" before going back to copy-pasted Assassins Creed sequels.
At a certain point, it's easier for people like me to wash our hands of blackpillers.

Most people think all this pozzed stuff is bullshit, and that's in the left-wing cities. The average person thinks that faggy gays are annoying, and trans people are weird, and the only think stopping you from hearing it is that you're only socializing on tech platforms and probably very left wing places like schools or businesses that depend on investments from woke moneymen at BlackRock.
My local thrift store has a whole section of Golden Eagle pulp books, and any time I throw out a based take to someone who isn't a 20-30 year old single woman they at least crack a smile. Believe it or not but just because there are a ton of very visibly degenerate things going on in the world doesn't mean that there's no hope.
You highlighted my "just close your eyes" joke, but you missed my point, my point wasn't that you should close your eyes and pretend everything is fine, my point is that those pozzed tables celebrating women and homos are surrounded with aisles and aisles full of good books, and the store is filled with people who rolled their eyes when they saw the pozzed table on their way to the good books the store is filled with.
