Rated optimistic because those days are over. Sure, Netflix might fund the occasional "based" property to keep the right wing happy, but most of their original content seems to be woke crap like She-Ra or Cuties.

Even "based" shows like DareDevil and The Punisher supposedly went woke in their final seasons. I doubt Squid Game 2 will be any good because after it's surprise popularity, I get the feeling executives are going to mess with it to try and make it woke.

I doubt it's even that. They assume normies and fans will watch any shit as long as it has the right brand name on it, so they pander to the left in the hope they'll get enough hype to attract new subscribers.

There's more large streaming services than Netflix though, that's kind of the thing they're all competing with each other and wanting something to stick.

I had heard of it, but I'm not a LOTR fan and I didn't know it was an Amazon show.

As I said, I don't know anyone who watches Amazon. I've known people who watch Disney+ and Netflix, and I know Star Trek and Halo are HBO and Paramount productions. I didn't mean to imply that Amazon is based, just that I had no idea if they were woke or not because no one gives a shit about Amazon.

If you have an amazon prime membership you belong to their streaming services, it's part of the benefits.

People did not originally get it for the streaming and more the free shipping, streaming shit came way later. Now they're amping up their original programming because people want that and it's become a major draw. People really liked The Boys.

The Valk/Bang/Loba Love triangle only exists because respawn didn't want to look like racist and sexist by making Valk a lesbian to avoid Mirage/Valkyrie shipping with the implication a white cis man with anxiety issues and an ill definition of cool can score an alcoholic promiscuous oriental chick as his girlfriend.

Bonus points since both of their family were vets of the last war in Titanfall 2 .
