More Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart drama, even while that game was considered to be one of the best video games last year.

Again, this is me personally, but the dev team does not deserve this. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was a good game, and to see this “writer” attempt to defile the success and tarnish the crew for making not just Rivet but the game as fun just shows me that this disgruntled and jealous person really makes “game writers” look way self-important for their own good.
It’s just dumb all around.

All these woke writers seem to flit from project to project. Why don't companies ever learn to stop hiring them? Why would they hire someone that's going to need to be fired and then will bitch about your company and the game?

When I was growing up, there were kids toys for Terminator, Aliens, and Robocop. Back in the day parents demanded age restrictions on films and games, but most just ignore them anyway.
This is what I want to know too. Game journos are the same. I assumed they were connected and thus could call in favours, but even then they keep going long past any favours have dried up.
Speaking of Sam Maggs. In that "raped in GTA" video they mention a game "zombie apocalypse", and have no idea what game that is.

When you wrap your head around the concept of diversity hires being a hipster mafia of sorts it all makes sense (nice business you've got here, be a shame if someone accused you of transphobia, misogyny, and racism wouldn't it).
Throw into the mix of a puffed up CV that's superficially quite dense, and sympathetic/scared HR and ta-da!
Hiring these people is akin to bringing in a grenade with the pin already out but with a detonator of random length. The main thing to keep in mind that while the length is indeterminate... it's still guaranteed.

The western release of the Dragon Maid game has kept the same cover art as the japanese originals. Didn't stop retards from bringing back "layout format as a form of censorship" argument.

I hadn't heard of a Dragon Maid game or any related censorship until I read Marissa Moira's post, but I had a feeling what it was about. Sure enough, I was right.
I might be inclined to give the benefit of the doubt and say it was to better fit within the dimensions of a PS4 cover, but Sony doesn't get that any more after all the shit they've pulled. Doubly so when you consider that wokescolds have hated that character since the anime.
I think it's worth mentioning the Twitter and Reddit posts I found sharing that image were mostly laughing at how petty Soyny was being, with the outrage being from pronouns-in-bio types saying that it's not real censorship.

The cover remains unchanged from both the western and asian versions. The only people who had say on making the cover was the artist and the Japanese developers themselves. The art on the larger CE box is also the same between both PS4 and the switch since the dimensions to that are still the same.
So yes anyone who's crying censorship is retarded.

Reminds me of how the cgi box shading effect of a special edition on some game's stock image a while back was assumed to be censorship lens flare shit cause it was on a female character's chest area but it turned out nothing was changed. I forget what game it was but it was one that came out last year or so I think. It was another case where it wouldnt make any fucking sense because the box art was like a promo art ensemble of the whole cast of characters.
