Crying about Republicans on twitter with the rest of the liberal faggots:Where the fuck is Seanbaby while all this is happening?
According to Wong they've gotten rid of a lot of salaried writers and only have a small core of editors left as permanent staff. They'll be using freelance (i.e. cheap) writers for most of the articles, presumably.Did they can all their male feminists, or did they just downsize their flock of cucks?![]()
Yep. Cracked decided to walk a tightrope instead of the wide, open road they’d been driving on.Moreover, that's a market that has no problem viciously turning on you the moment you misunderstand the current party line or try to say "hold on a minute, maybe that's going too far." Even if you please them for a while, they're all looking to compete over who can find the racist aspect of a previously viewed as "woke" thing soonest.
Most likely, unfortunately.Giving 3 to 1 odds that it got memory-holed.

ONTD copy-pasted something that sounds like that. Though finding it would mean searching through ONTD, which I would not recommend. Also of course the ONTD commenters reeeed their heads off about it.Shortly after the election they published an article about how radlibs in general had no idea what happened because they're so smug and out of touch that they didn't understand why sane people don't trust the democrats, and how we were sick of being told for a decade straight of the terrible things that would happen if republicans won, but when Obama did literally all of those same things the pearlclutchers were nowhere to be found. It was really well-written and for the life of me I can't find it now.
They probably disavowed it after they realized it was talking about most of their staff. I wish I remembered who the author was.
Thanks for the lead, I may just subject myself to the pain and see if I can find it.ONTD copy-pasted something that sounds like that. Though finding it would mean searching through ONTD, which I would not recommend. Also of course the ONTD commenters reeeed their heads off about it.

I remember an article bitching about unpaid internships in journalism, both print and video, and how the interns needed to band together and insist on being paid. Except there were so many people trying to get into the field that if anyone bitched they were fired immediately and the next sucker was hired. The person writing was complaining about how this was unfair and thereottabealaw, etc. etc. etc.The best decision of my life was getting out of journalism.
If you're under the age of, let's say, 22 and you're getting fucked over by a career in journalism, I'm not going to hold it against you. But if you're any older and you complain for one second about how shitty of an industry it is, it is 100% an example of lacking executive function. You are a moron. You are lazy. It's the financial equivalent of refusing to get your car checked out when the oil pressure light comes on. Everyone knew the industry was doomed for anyone who wanted to build an honest and lucrative career for themselves. You had it coming if you stuck with it anyway.
I found it! Or rather I found another article that I had also read but it wasn't what I was thinking of. Now I have no idea what I was thinking of but at least you helped me put that to rest.I remember that article. The author was David Wong, believe it or not.
