I just discovered this youtuber called Kwebbelkop. I never heard of him but apparently he's been around as long as Pewdiepie and I see him as a Dutch Pewdiepie. There was some recent drama about how he's getting burnout and wants to replace his content with an AI version of himself who will do the content for him while he collects the checks.
That's not to say he made good content before AI, I can't stand his sense of humor. Not even his fans like his AI videos. He's not even hurting for money so if you don't enjoy making the content then what's the point? I think that's what irritates me about this AI shit, it's shitting up the Internet and I'm convinced more than half of it is some retarded get-rich-quick schemes.
Yeah, this lazy fuck pretty much spearheaded AI content creation, and little kids on youtube love it for some reason. I assume he will sell his model on some course at some point to help accelerate the dead internet theory.

I know of Dr.Squatch because it competes with the definitly IS A SPONSER soap of KingCobraJFS.
I just opened the first link, saw STAR WARS and geg'd
Call it what it is: FUNKO SOAP

Ever met a man into Skate Infinity or Black Butler? I haven't. All that wall needs needs is Bungo Stray Dogs or Tokyo Ghoul and it'll complete some sort of unholy trinity of Shonen/Seinen anime mostly consumed by fujos.
There's shit ton of male tokyo ghoul fans though. Never heard of it being pooner anime.

I want to prematurely apologize to future generations for allowing this shit to happen.

Chinese people have responded to the tariff situation by claiming various luxury products are made in China and either stamped overseas, or just shipped to luxury stores wholesale. Tiktok is a combination of upset and consoomy.

They're late to the party with the world's worst-kept and best-known "secret." Not sure why they think this is a clever "own" though ... seems like it would discourage people from buying their cheap knock-off products.

"See this fancy stuff you pay too much for? We shitty nasty skanky Chinks secretly make it. Aren't you glad Trump's tariffs are making this cheap Chinesium shit more expensive? Don't you wish he'd stop being mean to us so we can keep making your shitty knockoffs? Wait, why do you associate Chinese with poor quality? NO WAIT COME BACK!"

There seems to be a general pattern of companies becoming weirdly open out of nowhere about a lot of industry kept "secrets". Like here, Forbes not so subtly admits that if Apple's sweatshop workers were paid american wages and subject to american standard of welfare and security, the prices for the product could increase 100x. Like... America is not even remotely the best country in the west as far as worker welfare and security goes. It's more or less open admission that the reason Iphones are so cheap is due to what amounts to modern slave labor in foreign countries that have substantially lower standards for worker rights and living standards.

It's amazing the boomers haven't made Senior Discount Tuesdays at the thrift store, a federal holiday. Now that the weather is nice and boomers have thawed out, they're back scrounging for coupons and discounts for being old.

I find book consumerism interesting because 1) it's a trend that targets women 2) I'm guilty of it myself.
These are some ladies most watched videos. They have between 100k to 50k views each.

It's not just buying books but also unhauling them (giving them away), reorganizing shelves, picking your next book out of a little jar with pieces of paper that list titles, putting together books by color themes, etc.
Female autism.

Does it really count as consoomerism if you are willing to just give stuff you bought away by the boxes?

I think buying loads of shit you dont want and getting rid of it is consumerism. In a lot of these cases, most of the books are just window dressing and not actually read

I can happily say that I've never read a single book in my entire life and hopefully never will.
