I know how to scare connor off
Careful Null. You'll trigger him
He can get to know Thonis. They'd be perfect for each other.
Oh god, imagine them together. The universe would split apart.

Well if you wont actually work to meet your aspirations, then youve pretty much already given up on them. It takes an act of God to actually get you to sit down and write anything, and when people try to help you either tell em to piss off or give them the "im scared of failure" excuse. You seriously need to realize that if you genuinely love what you've written, and it actually does a good job of saying what you were meaning to say then it wasn't a failure no matter what other people think about it. An artist creates because they have ideas that they will do anything to make them as real as they possibly can, its not about winning or losing.Jesus, there's no point in arguing. Fuck it, I'm just going to agree with everything you say from this point on. I'm a pathetic, no-good, freeloading, worthless bum who should just give up his aspirations of being a teacher and writer. Maybe I'll get a menial job, get in a loveless marriage, and probably drink myself to death by the age of fifty, wondering what the fuck happened.
you've already laid that out silly billySo, if I give up my dreams of teaching/writing, get some menial job, become an alcoholic, and get in a less than ideal marriage... what comes next?

Connor, we've been through this. So, if I give up my dreams of teaching/writing, get some menial job, become an alcoholic, and get in a less than ideal marriage... what comes next?
That was kind of a worst case scenario.you've already laid that out silly billy
Congratulations. You'll have accomplished the American Dream. So, if I give up my dreams of teaching/writing, get some menial job, become an alcoholic, and get in a less than ideal marriage... what comes next?
Who cares? This level is already several steps ahead of you. You should be working to reach it, motherfucker. So, if I give up my dreams of teaching/writing, get some menial job, become an alcoholic, and get in a less than ideal marriage... what comes next?
How do you you get "become an alcoholic with a dead-end job in a loveless marriage" from "not becoming a famous author in the same strata as Stephen King"?So, if I give up my dreams of teaching/writing, get some menial job, become an alcoholic, and get in a less than ideal marriage... what comes next?
Then you'd actually be doing a thing. So, if I give up my dreams of teaching/writing, get some menial job, become an alcoholic, and get in a less than ideal marriage... what comes next?
Maybe I'll get a ... job, get in a ... marriage
because you're autistic and speak in absolutes when you're being dramatic i couldn't tell if that was the best case or the worst caseThat was kind of a worst case scenario.

Not exactly much room for socioeconomic mobility or achievement. Wouldn't really call that a dream.Congratulations. You'll have accomplished the American Dream.
Your life as it is now is the worst case scenario. That was kind of a worst case scenario.
Neither is bullshitting about writing a novel all day.Not exactly much room for socioeconomic mobility or achievement. Wouldn't really call that a dream.
