Connor's biggest weakness seems not to be the fact that he doesn't try, though that certainly is an issue but that he's so easily discouraged by essentially nothing. He's setting near impossible goals for himself and when he relizes that he actually has to try and achieve them, the weight of the world comes crashing down on him. If Connor wants to maybe pull himself together he's got to pick one thing and actually do it. Otherwise he's just setting himself up to fail.
We'll all die before Connor finishes his screenplay.
Our cities will turn to dust. Life will arise again in forms unimaginable to us. The sun will swell and engulf the Earth. New stars, new worlds, and perhaps even new life will form from the atoms that once made up the world we knew.
And not a single one of those atoms will have ever been a part of a Connor Bible screenplay.
@Connor Bible ... Do you realize... do you REALIZE...that I've done more on any given day of my life than you've managed to do all year? And I'm including days I was sick in bed with the flu, or did nothing but masturbate. I'm pretty sure if I died, I'd still get more done than you.
He's taking two classes next semester. He'll literally have no time to write in between school work, watching Wheel of Fortune, whining online and masturbating over pictures of Molly Ringwald.
Goddamnit Connor. You cant even read a novel in a single season, let alone write five.
"I can do this" - based on a nothing more than a proven track record of not doing things.
I want to hear more about these stage plays. It's not like they've been commissioned. Does his teacher know about this?
If he's really attending none at all for summer, let's see if he gets his works done. If he didn't finish his works due to his studies I don't really blame him.
