not sure if this has been discussed in this thread specifically but the guy who made synths is like the ultimate anti-closed species creator. he's literally just like "sure do whatever you want with them. sell 'em, turn 'em into centaurs, who gives a shit"

the only active cs drama blogs i see is cs-meaner (mod shit sometimes goes a little too overboard for my taste, but they do their job okay), the milqilin drama blogs and there's a dainty drama blog that kinda goes on.

As for the topic brought up by Mountain Dew and woowie queen, I don't really pay attention to CS drama blogs. I follow a few groups on Toyhou.se to see if anything goes on but, at least for surface-level information, nothing really seems to have happened as of late.

it's just the internet calm down (let us get back to the pay-for-social-status furry jpegs. closed species really are like nfts in that regard actually, especially because the owners usually like to decide to just steal them back sometimes)

I guess if there's any particularly juicy posts they might be worth looking at . I can't say I know of any CS owners/creators who are unhinged as, say, Telephone with dutch angel dragons who had their own thread already.

i just realized how rare this is, usually people use original species as a place to enforce their own ideas "check out my species, they all universally hold my particular ideologies, political affiliation and opinions on the tier ranking of every marvel movie"

exactly, that's why they're so fresh in my mind. i also like how despite being a relatively simple concept i.e. robo scalies, they're still easily recognizable even with different parts/anatomy.
 
So Scarfoxes have been on a couple month hiatus for the admins "mental health and IRL issues", members originally were pretty OK with it, sort of pissed they were asked to wait 2 months to submit their new MYO foxes, whilist some of the admin made ones would be auto added (the ones you can bid on or buy made by admins, advertised on their ARG website, which go for like starting of 80 and the ABs are usually 500) So basically, if you wanted a Scarfox between the months of August - October, you either had to buy one in circulation or pay out the ass to get a premade from an admin.

Well, they're back now, hiatus over, and this was what really set off the community:

So basically, if you don't want your hand fetish autism fox to be in the species anymore, you have to PAY to be removed from the community.

Oh yeah, they also added traits that only the admins can use, so basically admins can now god mod their sold designs and if you want a fox with one of those traits shown, well too bad!

Oh and you can't post clown or clown adjacent foxes during october even though there was a poll and people said "fuck off with it" because ONE member bitched about being raped by a clown and now seeing a furry kefka will trigger them into an panic attack

You're paying to be delisted from their masterlist but avoid the torches and pitchforks, and if you want to sell the design later that person can readd it to the masterlist and rejoin the community with it.

Blacklisting is being ejected and your autism fox is now tainted with bad karma from you being a literal nazi reincarnation and a group of mentally ill women will follow whatever adjacent communities youre in and warn that you're bad and should be removed

at least that's what I've come to understand.
