I'm curious.....how long does it take to make new copies? I'm happy for them it sold gangbusters.

You have two endings.
One ending is the ending in which you heroically sacrifice yourself to keep the world and everyone in it alive.
The other ending has you act cartoonishly evil and destroy everything to make a few villains happy.
Don't fall for the verso propaganda

You think Alicia could be useful against the writers? She has 2 typing machines in her own room, she opened the proverbial door to let the arsonists in. She's better off in the painting while Clea sorts the wr*gger scum out.

Did you unlock the manor rooms? A lot of context can be gleaned there, if not from the fake epilogue Act 2 to Act 3 transition.

some of them yes.
one thing i wonder if the cast existed in real world or they are interpretations that verso made to escape hellworld. who was gustave, sophie, sciel, and the rest of the gang.
it seems that there is more content with the other sister and some dude called simon i didnt meet.
what would be better, returning back to the continent at the last expedition marker, doing a game + run or starting again?

Useful in a fight no. Unless all that fighting knowledge in the painted world is transferable. But her Mother and Father can fight better if their daughter isnt in a coma living in a dream world.

I'd say you should clear out the rest of the areas with the current save. There's a surprising number of secrets to be gleaned throughout.

Regardless of usefulness, she shouldn't waste away in a world her brother created because she's sad. It is quite literally torturing the last bit of his soul that exists in the canvas. It's tired of keeping the world alive. It fucking sucks for the residents inside the painting, but it's not fair to the literal gods of their world to force them to suffer to sustain them. Kick Alicia out, let her process her grief healthily, and move on with her life.

You seem to care enough to be mad about my irrelevant opinion. Note I didn't say dick about the gameplay, which I have not experienced (ps, it's fine. It's looks like persona+smrpg, literally whatever whatever). I did say shit about people sperging about the art direction and the soundtrack.
 
I think I'm going to give up on trying to beat Simon legit. My best run got him to 1/4 before he just started mowing me down and removing party members. I'm going to do a NG+ loop to get more chroma and pictos, and I'm going to one-shot the fucker with a broken Maelle build using every single damage up lumina I can get my hands on.

You don't need NG+ for that.
Sciel's 3rd gradient can dish out a lot of damage, if you keep on consuming Foretell. You can also combo Monoco's 3rd gradient with Verso's Seeram (weapon that caps at A rank) + End Bringer (skill that re-applies stun on A rank) to keep Simon stun locked for a good chunk of the fight.
Applying Slow + Greater Slow picto on him and Rush + Greater Rush picto on you, is also worthwhile, as you can better manage the re-application of stun on him.
 
I’m only 5 hours in. I spent a lot of time fighting the abbest boss in the cave, and managed to kill him when I was severely under leveled for that encounter. I love that the game would allow you to even attempt that shit at such a low level, and the mechanics would give you a fair whack at completing it.

Only 5 hours in, but I know I’ve more than doubled that listening to the soundtrack while in between work meetings. Just beautiful.

There are a lot of optional bosses you can encounter well below a level where it's a fair fight, so you can look forward to that.

There's probably a streamer out there somewhere who already completed the game with nothing but the base weapons and level 1 stats.

Honestly, from how many stats you can get from pictos, and the ludicrous setups you can do, that may not be that much harder.
