ive wanted to smack his stupid face since high school as hes always walked around with that smug '' im so perfect'' face and shit on everyone else, what still gets me to this day is why he never got his ass beat in school, most people who act like he did or even do half the shit chris did, got bullied and beat up left and right, how chris managed to also escape that all through school, ill never understand because most people who are even halfas bigof an ass as he was, get handled eventually, and people who do even a fraction of the dumb shit he did, get whats coming, but no, not chris.
Agreed
Chris is massively in debt, but instead of needing to pay off that debt with money, he needs to pay it off via getting his ass beat

Whatever happened to America's favorite game?

For anyone wondering what Chris may potentially be facing in terms of sentencing, permit me to draw your attention to the following:

Man gets 12 life sentences for rape of 9 year old

That trial also took place recently in Greene County. We can debate the difference between rape involving a 9-year-old girl and rape involving a dementia-ridden 80-year-old woman all we want, but the reality is that they're both acts that are far, far beyond being merely reprehensible. This also means that any jury drawn from that part of the world is not likely to recommend a light sentence for incestuous rape, and it's doubtful that a judge would disagree with the jury's recommendations.
According to Chris, it was multiple times, so I think any chance of a light sentence is out the window, there's also a few more charges that could be tacked on and Chris is functional enough with people that the Jury could end up finding him to be a giant piece of shit. It's why members of juries are often asked not to look up the defendant, they could find stories/evidence of crimes outside of what they're being tried for which could muddy the trial.
Dementia or not, raping Barb is clearly elder abuse. That would almost certainly enhance the charges against him.

Here's what I expect will happen:

Heilberg: "My client's just a poor autistic transwoman struggling against the might of the Internet attempting to keep her down, down in a world of pain and despair and unhappiness. That's why s/he had to fuck her mom."

Jury: "Lol no mofo's going to lots and lots of prison"

He knows damn well that what he did was wrong, much like in all of the other legal escapades he's been through. The Tism won't save him this time, because the jury (or judge, if opts for the bench) is so unbelievably likely to see through that argument and cut directly to the chase of, 'so you raped your own mother.' Hell, he even makes a point of describing himself as high-functioning over the years, which severely weakens the ability of the defense to claim diminished capacity.
Dementia or not, you can point out three crimes in the matter of Chris raping Barb. You've got rape, incest, and elderly abuse. Multiple counts of it in statements made by Chris. Chris' lawyer would be dumb to go that route though, since any lawyer worth his lick of salt would just point out that Chris has never taken any advice that would have been helpful for him and bettered him as a person. He only did the things that got him what he wanted when he wanted it, to Hell with everybody else. It's a toxic mindset that any prosecutor could use to make anybody look like a giant piece of shit.

A lot of people seem to think that Chris himself got lucky, and don't realize he's never committed a bad enough crime. The only one he could have gotten in serious trouble for, Synder asked the Judge to be lenient. That wasn't the 'Tism that saved him, it was Synder being an upstanding person and not wanting a stupid decision to potentially ruin somebodies life.
Here's the thing: while I don't necessarily disagree with you, Chris' hatred of anything that casts aspersions on either his sanity or mental capacity could very well sink that in court. If sequestering him in a tardhouse for the rest of his natural life was on the cards, I could very well see him completely melting down in court. Hell, even just sending him for a court-ordered evaluation could cause the same thing - and that could potentially be viewed as contempt.

Shit - just imagine what would happen if anyone in court were to describe him as being naïve. He'd go ballistard.

Maybe. Again, I see the point you're driving at, but there's enough in Chris' own actions to show that he planned this out. Diminished capacity is going to be difficult to argue with the sheer number of real-world activities and interactions he took part in on a regular basis.
I wouldn't be surprised if the prosecutor tried to subtly push Chris into his tard rage by questioning his sanity or mental capacity, a good outburst could sink Heilbergs entire argument and make any attempt at salvaging Chris nearly impossible. This guy took the wrong case because it's going to be nothing but a headache for him. Not only did Chris plan this out, but scuttlebutt says him and Barb were greatly exaggerating how bad Barb was for pity, and one of his neighbors on a facebook post said was a lot more intelligent than he let on. For everything that this case is worth, Heilberg is going to have a hard time trying to argue anything other than "Chris was a retard whose shit attitude and no desire to be a better person and to treat people kindly resulted in him not having anybody to have a mutual relationship which sadly resulted in Chris getting this idea that banging his own mother despite her wishes and pain was the only solution to his problem." A plea deal is the only thing that will save Chris from his life being completely destroyed, but lets just face it. You don't need sex, it's not important to live, it's simply fun to have and lets your family legacy move on. Plenty of people go their entire lives being a virgin and don't rape their own mothers.
The only way I really see him getting out of it, though, is if it turns out he's not charged with rape, or they plead him out to something less than incest, or at best, only convict him of the misdemeanor version of the crime. I'm pretty sure the next hearing on September 16 is when they'll add more charges if they're going to do that.

I'm also interested in whether it will start to sink in to that thick skull that this is actually serious. He's never spent this length of time in captivity and for the first time in his life, won't be able to just do as he wishes for an extended period of time.

I think he may be a more subdued Chris, but I'd really rather he tard rage to the point the jury and/or judge hate his guts enough to throw the book at him.
Optimistic at best, it's going to be hard to argue not charging him with rape and or incest. You can't sugarcoat his crimes, and don't want to send somebody like Chris back out into the world with everybody knowing that he puts his own needs before others and is 100% fine with hurting others to sate his own desires. There also isn't a misdemeanor for his crime. Mother/father/son/daughter/grandkid is a class 5 felony. If Barb is found to be just as guilty in this as Chris is, she could be charged with a class 3 felony. Misdemeanor incest is basically brother/sister/cousin, generally anybody whose relationship is not that of a parental figure.

Well, he got lucky that Snyder was that kind of guy. Ironically, he might not have ramped up to a serious crime with life-ruining possibilities had he not been allowed to get away with so much bullshit in his past.
At this point it’s both of them, if memory serves.

Speaking of, I remembered it being Barb who hit Snyder with the car. They kept switching.
They both did. That's why they were both charged.
Optimistic at best, it's going to be hard to argue not charging him with rape and or incest.
Well, he already is charged with incest. Whether it was rape too would depend on how far gone Barb is. Elder abuse also seems likely, and there's also the possibility they'll actually charge him with stealing the $750. He might have also done other stuff we don't know about.

I hope Null was honest about reporting the $750 EPO violation though, even if he actually didn't so Chris won't suffer much, they will still easily find out about it and are definitely aware of it already.
And yes, the rape charge remains to be confirmed which only depends on Barb's response on all this and, considering how much time has passed by now, cops and justice have the answer already and likely rightfully-justified new charges that might be confirmed on September 16th.

Now you mention it, it didn't cross my mind that he could've done other things to her (and I pray not to his pets) as well and he just didn't tell anyone, even worse things that he knows might be even more screwed up than the incest which only brings horrible things to the imagination. I'm only speculating there but I really, really hope his Teflon Tard powers don't activate when facing court next time.

didn't he mention bondage? on someone addled and decrepit?

what he didn't admit to... that's an abyss.

didn't he mention bondage?
I really believed this as well but if you check the sea of Bella threads, there is one with confirmation that the bondage thing, at least, was a total fake and the messages weren't actually from Chris.

What I am still wondering though and I haven't seen proof of true or fake, is about Chris feeding Barbara scrambled eggs and jacking off on them before feeding it to her. It definitely sounds like the things a gross person like him would do.

Inb4 "sock" but honestly there's no evidence of anything unless they found something when examining Barb. I actually cannot believe that people think Discord chats and the phone thing are gonna be damning evidence. First off: Bella likely won't corroborate the call being real due to what has happened since (everyone here blowing her shit into oblivion, which was the right thing to do). Second: Discord logs and even the call are not really evidence of anything happening aside from Chris saying "this happened" which, let's remember, Chris also says the merge, Sonichu, and a million other fake and insane things have happened.

Your comment highlights the issue everyone here is missing. It "sounds like things a gross person like him would do" is not evidence of anything. Yeah, Chris is a fucking autist weirdo. That's not proof of a damn thing. That's the problem. It isn't proof. It's all conjecture. Boggles my mind that people don't know the difference in actual evidence that can be used in a trial and "conjecture." It says a lot that it has been 2-3 weeks and the charges have not changed beyond "incest." You think if they found anything in the examination of Barb they would just play their cards close to their chest and not charge him with rape? If they had any evidence or were gonna charge him, they'd have already done it. This isn't a TV show, it's real life, prosecutors don't hold stuff for dramatic effect.

I think he's very attached to not being in prison too. I guess we'll see what's more important to him. I think it will depend on his level of sheer terror if he figures out this isn't one of those things that just goes away.
FWIW, I could see him getting comfortable with prison life after he figures out what not to do in order to avoid getting his ass beat on a daily basis. Think about it: he can spend the entire day watching TV, eating, sleeping, and generally having no responsibility whatsoever.

Granted, that cuts him off from the Internet, MLP and merge bullshit, and would require him to at least hide if not completely drop the CPU goddess crap (amongst other things), but I could see him sliding into a degree of comfort with incarceration over time. He'd essentially be weaned off of the enabler titties and into his new reality, sort of like how a smack addict ends up on methadone.

Does this mean that I think it'll happen? Too early to say. Sept. 16th is likely to be our first real insight into how he handled six weeks in jail, so a better (if superficial) judgement of his mental state can be made then.

It says a lot that it has been 2-3 weeks and the charges have not changed beyond "incest." You think if they found anything in the examination of Barb they would just play their cards close to their chest and not charge him with rape?
Which is a good point, but depending on Barb's mental state it may not be possible to accurately determine consent. This would go some way towards explaining why the charges haven't changed: rape implies no consent to the act, but incest could go either way. By sticking with just the incest charge, there's at least something there he could potentially be convicted of.

With rape, there's a chance that the charge could be thrown out due to the prosecution being unable to prove that Barb wasn't a willing participant. And given that it's pretty clear that the prosecution wants him behind bars, they're probably going to play it really safe and not bring charges that could fuck up their chances of a conviction unless those charges are provable beyond a shadow of a doubt.

In the case of him getting limited to no punishment, I wonder how exactly things will progress after release. I don't really see him going back to normal and living with Barb again, in fact I don't see her going home at all, so where's Chris going to end up? Home alone until he gets kicked out due to debts and not being able to pay the bills? Homeless? Prison may in fact be the best chance he has of getting his life together and not ending up dead on the streets.

A wonderful fantasy. I can picture it in detail. :)
i was thinking more

Heilburg: My client is an autistic adult child and has almost no higher brain function or competence left. You've seen the way she made facial expressions that only vaguely mimic an autistic idea of how a normal person emotes while having a blank, vacant glazed look in her eyes despite the stimuli she reacted too being very slow paced and simple to follow?* Does this look like the face of a sexual deviant that had any idea what she was doing?

Refering to the tard faces chris made reacting to the brony aylalistss cartoon...seriously the court should be made to watch that series as proff chris is not mentally sound in any way or fit to be sent to prison where he'll be eaten alive in like a week.

aha, great i can already sense the anxiety flooding his brain knowing that his toys are gonna get thrown into a dump. he must be feeling sick constantly thinking about his precious legos that are gonna get discarded like trash.
Maybe the toys will go to children that actually need them, but I hope they sanitize those toys first if they do. I guess they could get recycled.

Edit: Never mind I’m retarded, didn’t see the entire fucking thread for this question

I’m actually kind of curious what happens to a property / everything in it if the two occupants both end up under the care of the state. It remains to be seen what happens to Barb, but I’m betting she’ll be found mentally incompetent and unable to live on her own. That’s just speculation though, so who knows?

Chris, on the other hand, probably doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell of ever living in the same place as Barb ever again. And there’s zero way he ever becomes a homeowner or financially self-sufficient.

So what does the state do to the property? Does it get sold off? Does it become the state’s property? Does everything just get donated, or does it get tossed? Genuinely curious.

Wasn't there weens at a previous court appearance who said the lawyer said something about Chris' mental state and Chris scowled and looked really pissy afterwards?

Well, one hopes the evidence. What I'd hope the prosecution does is, if it's available in Virginia, and Barb isn't a complete gibbering vegetable, is move for something called a deposition de bene esse, which allows cross examination and confrontation in a deposition, and can be introduced at trial.

This is a fairly rare procedure usually done when a key witness is expected to die before trial or otherwise be unavailable, while still preserving the right to cross examination.

I'm not sure if it's available in criminal cases in Virginia or if this case has the circumstances that a court would see as justifying it. Or for that matter if Barb even remembers what Chris did to her.

We haven't really seen her on video but it's possible what Chris did to her broke her mind.

Imagine it was a video deposition but they got the tapes mixed up with the video to Cole from barb and sonichu.
