I am hereby predicting he will be found fit to stand trial, although possibly not for a while. It could be literally a year or two. Depends on how much effort Heilberg puts into it.
I think he'll be immediately found fit to stand trial. I'm not a legal expert, but I do know it takes more than being delusional to be declared unfit; You genuinely have to be found unable to realize you did anything wrong. Chris hid the fact that he was fucking his mom, even making up a lie about a girlfriend, that shows he knew it was wrong. He can't just say, "I had to do it for the merge" either, since a psychologist is gonna have to verify that Chris 100% believes that.

Look how far Nikolas Cruz got by claiming "The demons told me to". He was immediately shot down by a professional. As much as Chris loves to spout nonsense about the merge, I really don't think he totally believes it. He wants it to be true, but I think deep down, there's a part of him that knows it's all a fantasy. Chris is going to be put on trial as soon as possible, I'm 99% sure.

Hmm. Name is "Christine" but gender is recorded as "male".

Probably already covered in this thread.
MtF troons only get referred to as female if dicks gets cut off, otherwise you remain your birth gender. The Christine name stays because, surgery or not, that's been his legal name for a while now.

He fucked his mother and then boasted about it to Null while being ambiguous about it being his mother. Then later told all (without guilt) to

He's innocent and autistic enough to be manipulated into raping his mom but, yet, he's mature enough to pay bills, drive his car, go to every single convention he wants, make thousand of dollars from commissions (so work) but raping his mom is where he is suddenly an extremely gullible kid? Nuh-uh

The constant defenses of him after this whole rape incident are proof that some people will excuse and forgive anything he does and MAAAYBE consider otherwise in the case he kills someone or rapes, instead of his elderly mom, a child or (that we are unaware of) one of his endless continuosly escaping-or-dying-but-clearly-suffering pets.
Absolutely this. Chris has just gotten away with his shit for so long that he doesn't care, but that nagging instinctive gut feeling we all get when we know we're doing something questionable or wrong never went away. It's why he lied by omission to Null, why he bought the book, and why he was only open about it in "secret". He wasn't tricked or cajoled, he was caught. And he thinks there's still a powerful individual or two to get him off the hook

m-my name is not Baloney Face, bully! (:_(
but yes, he is 100% confident usual saviors like Null will bail him out and I don't believe he fully gave up on the motherfucker either, with all respect to daddy Josh, he didn't exactly cut contact or criticize Chris after the rape of Barb, it only became an issue to him and reason to cut contact when Chris lied to him about stealing Barb's money, which in his duty as Chris' protector, he was monitoring.
There's still a small chance that if he or someone else (I'm not dissing on him) doesn't save Chris from being locked up by posting bail when it becomes possible (which you can't do at the moment), they will otherwise save him from homelessness when he gets out. Chris knows someone will be there, always, regardless of what he does.

Whoops, fucked up the quotes. Anyway, he really has no one now. If you somehow burn through the entire fuse of someone like Null, you're done. His pride and coddled past make him unable to admit wrongdoing, even when he knows he did

I hope... I mean, even white-knights should know better this time around.

His stance on this may have changed now that he's been locked up for over two weeks, but he may believe it will all go away. He's received nothing more than a slap on the wrist for his past criminal activity so he may assume that this will also go away eventually too.

With people claiming that Bella somehow forced Chris to fuck Barb...I doubt it. Next it's going to be, The queen of England's ghost possessed Chris and made him rape that 7 year old in the ladies bathroom.

Yeah, there's still quite a lot of purposefully blind and dumb people around. They're fully convinced it's Bella who ruined poor innocent Chris' life. He can be responsible and mature-enough when convenient and usually dismissive of trolls in many, many cases, just not this one, according to them.

And he majorly fucked over the one person who might have stayed by him until the end.

Wait, I'm out of the loop. How is he now facing life? I thought Incest was a 10 year max sentence or something? Did they add additional charges already?
They issued a press release claiming they're going to add more charges. I suppose they could change their mind and only add some oddball charge like stealing that $750, if he even did that. Rape goes up to life, though, and seems to be the most likely charge. It's possible there's some ambiguous level of consent here, or that Barb isn't as senile as believed, or that she stops cooperating, or isn't capable of testifying due to dementia.

I'm assuming at least for the moment, and admit it's speculation, that the prosecution's first offer is not going to be something Chris is willing to take. I'd revise that if it turns out their case is weaker than I think.

My underlying assumptions:
Barb did not consent or is legally incapable of consenting.
Barb gave some kind of coherent explanation or the physical evidence is sufficient.
Chris admitted to at least something while trying to excuse his actions because he is that dumb.

So my opinion is they're going to add rape, although they might plead out for just the incest.

Obviously if these assumptions are incorrect, the outcome could be different. For instance, if Chris for once in his life had the sense to clam up, and Barb is either a lot more mentally there, or a lot less mentally there to the point of being incapable of testifying, or actively tries to defend him.

So there's a lot of moving parts, but that's my basis for that opinion.

Unfortunately for us it's unlikely we get the full information on what's actually going on in the case until trial.

It's also in the defense's interest to stall in the hopes Barb dies or goes more senile, assuming she's not already too senile to testify.
If you think the tape with Bella that the entire case is based on will get admitted and nobody will have to go up to testify to its authenticity, that is just outlandish.
I don't think they get it in without better chain of custody on it. It's not complete and the taper is completely unreliable herself and not in the jurisdiction. I'm assuming they have a confession, though, just knowing Chris and his level of stupidity.

The fact they're holding him without bond is strongly suggestive they have more than "I saw it on the Internet."

I'm not anticipating it being a central part of the evidence, and even introducing it at all opens opportunities to discredit it somehow.

I would bet, though, that they played it to him and got him to re-admit anything necessary for their case. I think even a normal bunch of cops would realize there are serious evidentiary issues with it.3
They're fully convinced it's Bella who ruined poor innocent Chris' life.
He's so dumb he'd have admitted it to someone else if it hadn't been Bella. The only difference is he picked the only person around sick enough to let it continue just for the lulz.

Chris' last decade or so has been one giant deus ex machina thanks to the gargantuan effort expended by a few do-gooders and Josh. Fuck, he might even try to latch onto Ethan Ralph if he starts panicking (not that gunt would be helpful)

If I believe anything about the Bella situation - and considering thats the birth of possibly out newest major Lolcow, made possible by a bunch of angry autists - its that while she didn’t push Chris to rape Barb, she definitely poured gasoline on the dumpster fire that is Chris’ life. While I checked out of keeping up with Chris’ antics years ago, and thank fuck for the highlights feature, it seems like this might’ve unfortunately been an inevitability, if not with his mother than with someone else.

Null has been done with Chris before, and yet, we get the inside look at the motherfucker saga.

Hopefully Null learned something from this because Chris sure as hell won't.

There's plenty of lolcows in the pasture. Time to grind this one into hamburger.

For anyone wondering what Chris may potentially be facing in terms of sentencing, permit me to draw your attention to the following:

Man gets 12 life sentences for rape of 9 year old

That trial also took place recently in Greene County. We can debate the difference between rape involving a 9-year-old girl and rape involving a dementia-ridden 80-year-old woman all we want, but the reality is that they're both acts that are far, far beyond being merely reprehensible. This also means that any jury drawn from that part of the world is not likely to recommend a light sentence for incestuous rape, and it's doubtful that a judge would disagree with the jury's recommendations.

Chris is going to be put on trial as soon as possible, I'm 99% sure.
We'll see. I'm not particularly attached to this opinion, but I'll note Brian David Mitchell managed to put off his trial for literally years with obviously bogus performative insanity, despite his crime fairly clearly demonstrating a good deal of premeditation.

In theory it's a lower standard of sanity than the standard for NGRI, but if it's granted, it usually just delays the case. If they put an incompetent person on trial, though, they risk an appeal on the issue.

It depends on how good a performance Chris puts on. I definitely agree he actually is competent to stand trial, despite having successfully played the tard card throughout his life to justify his antisocial behavior, but still think he might manage to get a delay and spend his confinement until trial in a mental hospital instead of jail, and Heilberg would be remiss not even to try.

I think he's going to want mental health evidence in the record as early in the case as possible, even if only to set up a diminished capacity defense for later.

Also on a side note, good God that shit-eating grin on his mugshot. I hope someone smacks that right off his fucking face. What a piece of shit.
