This is what I hate the most about this situation beside crime itself and Chrises justifications. It's retarded to tell that Null tried to cover him or something, but in the end he tried to explain it as Chris "covering one thing with another", but only because for some fucking reason Chris decided to tell him this lie. If he kept his mounth shut, no one would be able even to think that Null had something to do with it. Chris basically roped him into this.

No, my issue is that he told that to Null at all, but in the end it is good that we had that leak for several reasons:

- Now Chris won't be able to do this anymore and will be punished. Otherwise he would keep doing that and I can't see any other way that could be revealed someday.
- If things were going the way they were, ILJ would blackmail Chris into something worse. No, I am not sorry for him, I just think he should be dealt with in court and not by someone who is more fucked up than him.
- Barb could die and he would get away with everything, since recording is not enough and people would feel sorry for him and wouldn't believe that.

On the other hand they could leak this shit when he would go to the convention. Getting curbstomped by some ponyfag would be just glorious.

Anything more than this grounded instinct is just us blowing ourselves a bit; understandable, given the temporary loss of a cow. THE cow, really. It feels appropriate to imagine the bigger outcomes, especially given his antics he has been known to do in court. But I genuinely think you're right. This may not be the big blowout many are looking for...much more likely to be a bizarre sidestory on our way to the Real End

Elaborating on the idea that getting off "lightly" is subjective.

The only scenario for Chris with zero confinement to an institution (prison or otherwise):
Intermittently homeless registered sex offender.
Not terribly survivable for him.

The best possible case (for Chris) IMO: Non-prison mental institution with plenty of Thorazine or the like.
