What's with the outro music in part 76 being pitched differently? It made it sound like Chris passed away when it only ends with zooming on him laughing at a video he's reacting to.
So that it's in the same key as the background music track before it, as they crossfade between each other

I have to admit, seeing these pop up again is really tempting me to rewatch the series. (I don't even remember how I found the documentary to begin with as I had never really knew much about Chris (except the occasional 4chan posts I saw about him). It was right when COVID lockdowns started so all I had was time.)

I do wish Geno at least made a small mention on what he added or changed. Especially since he deletes the originals.

They're all still safe in the OLD VERSION playlist. Also, I'd rather not highlight differences between the old and new since that would increase awareness for the original versions. After all this huffaloo of "why's he reuploading them?", "wish I knew what was different", and "the old video was better" is over, the current versions will be the ones people go for and won't care that there was something else before them.

I've been rewatching the series. I knew of Chris when I was in High School, which was smack dead in the middle of his Trooning Out. I didn't know much about him either, but my ex introduced me to the documentary when it first came out and man. It really is like watching a Car Crash. But you can't look away.

I'm going through the whole series since the beginning, and despite following Christory since shortly before Bob's death, I have never actually listened to the Father Call. It was somehow both better and worse than I ever dreamed.

I'll be honest, I find the earliest part of Chris' history the most intriguing. I don't mean the early trolling, I mean before anyone knew who he was on the internet. I find it interesting to see Chris as he was before outsiders discovered him and started to mess with his life for laughs. It's easy to see he was always kind of a piece of shit, self-centered, not respecting the wants of women, things like that. I wish there was a bit more that we knew about how he was before he became famous in any way.

The trolls had very, very little effect on his most serious mental and emotional deficiencies, in essence he was bound to become the demented, monomaniacal gender-deluded self-deity he is today, as soon as his parents got too old or dead to keep a tight handle on him.

Even early on they warped his sense of what was real and what wasn't (worse than it already was) and made him feel way more important than he truly was. All of those things were there, but even early on the trolls worsened his various mental hangups.

So the newest Geno Samuels stream was quite crazy.

Some highlights

- he spends practically the entire stream defending China against the chat

- says that not being able to draw Xi Jinping as Winnie-the-Pooh doesn't matter as long as people are prospering

- downplays the persecution of the Uyghurs in China (says it's overblown)

- he once again calls the covid pandemic the "plandemic"

- says he didn't take the vax because he was scared of the side effects

- admitted to having a Japanese doctor (Geno previously lived in Japan) write him an excuse to not take the Covid vaccine saying that he was allergic to it. He needed this in order to live in China with his wife (who also isn't vaccinated) because China doesn't take in unvaccinated foreigners. He called it very unfair how foreigners have to take the vax but Chinese nationals don't

- to be clear he still likes China but absolutely hated it during covid and was glad he was in Japan during that time. So he tries to cover up his China apologia by suggesting that he's also pointing out the bad stuff

I’m not defending any of this batshit crazy stuff, but is there a chance that Geno’s trolling? Didn’t he like, say he’s 10 years younger than he actually is? Light stuff compared to this but… yeah… Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s trolling, but also wouldn’t be surprised if the medallion curse got him.

Also… why the fuck would he livestream himself saying he’s not vaccinated when that could potentially get him in legal trouble or even deported?

So as long as some people are making money it doesn't matter how little freedom people have or how many people die in camps?

So I guess Hitler and Stalin were great guys after all.
