Shit usually makes lots of money, I'm actually kind of surprised this cartoon version has seemingly bombed the way it has, that whole "community" seems about as fagtastic as comics and vidya and both of those blew up with seemingly no resistance at all.

Comics and video games both have legitimate adult audiences - that is, it's more acceptable to like those than it is animation.

Hey, maybe some of the Comicsgaters can make it happen. I find it a bit of a shocker that Diversity and Comics, after that whole "Thundercats Roar will make your kids into school shooters" thing, didn't pick up on the article and make a video about it.

So, basically, the entertainment industry should stop capitulating to those who don't actually attribute to clocked viewership statistics. Sounds like common sense rather than something to stir controversy with.

Why does when any from of controversy comes up it just gets the suffix -gate now of days is beyond me but honestly this has to be dumbest reason to start one .
I dunno, they've been doing it since Watergategate for some reason.

The Sonic fandom is already too far gone to have a worthwhile "-gate", and I'd say there are not enough conservative Bronies to have a "-gate".

They already tried shit like that back in the 2000s, specifically by creating forum boards for Sonic purists who refuse to acknowledge anything past the first three games and if they were feeling adventurous, Sonic & Knuckles. The one I ran into specifically had rules against discussing the cartoons, the anime, comics, manga, ect.

I generally don't much care for Western animation outside of shit like Castlevania, since 95% - 99% of it caters to children. Which I'm not. I'm only really nostalgic for stuff like 'The Real Ghostbusters' and if I get nostalgic enough, I have a boxed set I can watch. I don't care if its rebooted or not since I'm not going to bother with one. That was some legit horror for a kid's cartoon. I also loved the science stuff.

I honestly couldn't care less what's going on with shows made for children. And Cartoon Network?! An SJW filled shithole that cancelled MDE even though it was one of their most popular programs and consistently produces garbage like Steven Universe?! Say it ain't so!

Cartoon Network has been trash for a long fucking time. This isn't exactly new information. And yeah, most of it is unconfirmed garbage but the black-list thing is probably 100% true if you don't have the right politics. Its been this way in comics for a long while. An even smaller, more incestuous industry is going to have it.

I'm guessing the Sonic fandom is a caste system based on how many layers of autism you're on. Not that other fandoms aren't like that too.

Well, when it comes to people like EZPZ's insider, you can get blacklisted for threatening people with knives and drawing creepy waifu drawings of Pearl from Steven Universe, too. So it's nice to know it's not exclusively political.

Why are people assuming that EZ PZ's insider is Luke Weber based upon the rantings of /co? It could be anyone who got blacklisted, and Luke Weber's blacklisting is only alleged anyway.

Well, being a creepy asshole tends to get you blacklisted in a lot of places nowadays.

Million Dollar Extreme, got great ratings, funny as shit, got cancelled due to Tim Heidecker being a weepy cunt. Not that Cartoon Network wasn't sad to see it go.

But they gave a job to the dude who wrote his pedo ship with one of the Powerpuff Girls into the actual show.

Why exactly do these authoritarian faggots hate escapism so much? I work hard why can't I have my comics/games/animu/cartoons unmolested?
