Jolene Van Alstine was offered MAID instead of surgery in the province of SK. She wants to live but the pain of waiting 8 years for surgery she can't get caused her to give up and ask for government-sponsored organ harvesting euthanasia instead. Glenn Beck, of all people, heard about this and is now helping her get the surgery she needs to avoid government termination.

Usually floor crossers get punished in elections. These guys won't have the support of the riding association to campaign for them. Everyone who worked for their campaign will be pissed. Everyone who worked for the other party is pissed. I hope the bribe is worth it. It's especially funny with cons crossing the floor. The Liberals want you dead, they hate you, they hate your voters. They won't stop hating you because you changed the color of your tie.

Carney wants his majority come hell or high water, and then they will start in back on the Trudeau policies.

That's actually how it works, the higher-ups in the CPC influences which mps are allowed to run for the ridings, and sometimes rig the races too. Same with how party leaderships votes work. Why? My theory is that it's because they still get benefits for being opposition party, while not having to do anything. I think the higher ups hate Poilievre because he forces them to actually do shit (kinda) instead of simply posturing. They'd need to heavily overhauling the nomination process in the future, idk if they really will tho.

Also it's honestly lucky for the rest of the world that Canada has no influence on the global stage. Cuz Canadians would be attacking fishing boats and shit like what china does.
