It will most likely just be one of the many, many laws Canada already has, and would in reality be used very little if at all. Canadians think that having more laws (i.e more government) will magically make the country run better.

Also let's be honest here, they'll be using this law to also crackdown on Christianity and probably Judaism too.

The libs were already willing to fine a church for hosting an American 'homophobic' singer earlier this year, it's not a reach to imagine they'll be particularly aggresive in (ab)using these new 'hate speech' laws against those 'heckin' racist Christians' rather than the 'underprivileged minorities'

I'm pretty solidly agnostic, but when Marc Miller specifically focused on only qoutes from the bible as the primary justification behind 'needing' this expansion I can easily understand where the worry's coming from

Their complaints come from the valid point of the law not being used against Muslims and jeets while only being used against Christians/jews.
Liberals want to preach equality and acceptance but only on paper,when it comes time to use the law against jeets they wont.
