This. More and more i want to retreat to a little cottage in the woods and live off the grid. But that becomes a weaker and weaker possibility with all the third worlders we import.

Not happening. For one, now that El Donaldo is tanking his popularity by going back on all his promises, that big 'trade war' we needed to elect Carney over looks more like a border skirmish. Which, in turn, means that the 'elbows up' crowd will have nothing to obfuscate with when this sort of bullshit starts hitting the news and the normie retards finally realize he's Trudeau 2.0. For another, this kind of green shit keeps getting rolled back all over the world because it's impossible. If California is rolling back its ICE elimination deadlines there's no way our country will go ahead with ours. Carney can talk whatever retarded faggot nonsense he wants, when someone goes into his office and closes all the blinds and shows him the hard numbers printed out on paper, you'll find him 'readjusting' the goals.

A problem though is that there's huge overlap in Carney's base with the boomer & GenX homeowning crowd fucking over their grandchildren and those same fucks who have already ran out and bought a non-Tesla e-vehicle.

The "already got mine" Liberal crowd already is driving around in their overpriced SUV virtuesignalmobile. So will support Carney's ICE ban or reneg no matter how suicidal or folly.

They will never understand why the poors don't just go buy a few hybrids every few years like they do.

Or just take public transit that they fetishize over but would never actually set foot in themselves.

I am very much of the opinion that urban liberals do not love Canada. They only love what is popular at the moment, then conveniently forget about it once it is passe. Canadians, or at least a plurality of them, are tacky poseurs with no core values other than the legacy dictates to them. That is way so many look away when Carney sucks up to Trump after campaigning on standing up to the brute, or rationalizing it.

Canadians are trash.

I note as well that the boomers, Gen X and even some of the millennial parents don't give a shit that many elementary schools don't have any central air in their classrooms. Realistically, it's only really an issue in May-June & Sept, but it's still egregious that you pack in 25-30 little brats together in those tiny, stuffy rooms to be brainwashed & groomed all afternoon in conditions their parents or grandparents would never tolerate for themselves modern day. With the only remedy, a tiny crack in some window (that can't be opened fully lest some glue-eating rugrat hero themselves) or a discount oscillating fan the teacher buys with their own money.

The main issue for the Kids is not the lack of A/C but being stuck in those rooms with Jeetlets and Niglets. Imagine the Smell

Imagine how much of a non issue it would be if the class sizes reflected only the White population, meaning only 15-20 children per class instead of 30-35 with our current immigration scheme.

I am not bullish at the prospect of Alberta independence, but Carney could very well be the last Canadian prime minister. As @harbringer883 stated, what passes for a Canadian identity is a hollow shell not even worth defending. Trump was the only figure figure the left could rally against and even then it was by a thin margin and a catastrophic collapse of the NDP. If Carney will not deliver on pipelines and LNG terminals on the west coast, then Canada had nothing to offer to Alberta. Scorn and insults will not keep Albertans in line. I have heard it all and I care little about the opinion of some welfare bums in the Atlantic provinces, Quebec, or the urban wastes of Southern Ontario. Yes, we'll be landlocked, but that has been the status quo for the past decade so that is not even a threat anymore.

Carney has repeatedly stated that there needs to be a consensus among the provinces and First Nations for pipelines. That will be impossible as British Columbia and Quebec have repeated that they do not want them. What Carney is doing is passing the buck so he can point at the provinces and blame them despite Bill C-5 giving him sweeping powers. Typical of your leftist technocrat; possess a messianic complex, but don't want the responsibility that comes with it. They are also lazy as fuck. We are in a supposed crisis, but Parliament has not even sat for month before breaking for summer and the LPC refused to produce a budget while spending hundreds of billions of dollars. I cannot even take Canada seriously anymore and I cannot even bother to care about the nation so I welcome the tiniest prospect of independence out of sheer weariness of Ottawa's boundless stupidity and incompetence.
