Bubsy Returns - What could possibly go wrong

First, we get a port of the first two games on Steam that was just a couple of ROMs that are freely available online but with a "Game Select" menu and a $5.00 price tag, now we are getting a new game from the studio that made Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams. Yep, I have officially lost all hope for humanity.

Yeah, about that... he hates voicing Bubsy. It's tied with Fred from Fred's Coconut Salad as one of his most hated roles. Also...

Then Bubsy furfags with palette swap OCs wearing dirty diapers while being inflated becomes a common sight on the internet.
 
Why are they even doing this? Did anyone ever even like this shit? I thought this franchise was only famous for being utter garbage with no fans.
 
Honestly I love platformers, like even bottom of the bin or b grade stuff like fucking vexx, Ty, I even found that strange home improvement game kind of fun, I found Yooka-Laylee to be really enjoyable. Even I have to say, no, Bubsy sucked in the 90's and he sucks now, this is bad idea and what they shown of this game looks bland and boring. I mean the last game this company made was Twist dreams a reboot of another failed platformer which that game was also kind at best meh.

Only sales I see for this game is for people who like owned like 4 games growning up and Bubsy being one of them leaving them with some kind of attachment to the old games or because of the funny ironic memes all the hip kids are into these days.

As a side note, I kind wanna buy a real version of his shirt cause I actually kind of like the simple design of it.
 
Glad someone caught this here. I'm not glad this is becoming an actual thing, however.

Even if Bubsy doesn't die from everything - I don't see this going over too well, especially compared to some of AlphaOmegaSin's suggestions for revivals, instead, anyway...

Why is everyone complaining? Sure, we'd rather have something else better but if this fails spectacularly we would have something to cackle at and shitpost about!

Who knows, maybe someone would feel inspired and create their own sequel of this game like this one they made for Bubsy 3D!
