Bubsy Returns - What could possibly go wrong

This is what happens when meme culture goes too far. I played Bubsy a lot as a kid, but when you're a kid with a SNES and not a lot of family income you play whatever you've got. I don't look back fondly at the first game with its weird floaty physics and tons of gotcha-type death traps from blind jumps. His design never made sense to me and I still think it's pretty shitty.

The Giana Sisters game actually turned out decent (although I've heard all the Giana Sister games aren't terrible, just really derivative). What's probably going to happen is the Bubsy game is going to feel basically like Giana Sisters with a much more annoying protagonist.
 
Giana Sisters was the Super Mario Bros clone for the commodore, wasn't it?

We got a new trailer revealing the release date a couple days ago.
Also the game apparently costs $40

Yeah except they're not doing it for irony or memes, they're doing it because they tally their whacker to tranny bobcat feet. It's like Gachi levels of "people not realizing a meme used to be pornography".

Also, they basically made a shitty Space Funeral fangame even shittier with their attempts to cram in said fapfuel OC and it was annoying as hell.

I don't know if I call that wasted potential or just plain funny.
 
I have the new Bubsy pre-ordered and excitedly await to bonk out some dang dirty woolies.
