Bubsy Returns - What could possibly go wrong

I'm honestly not sure who's to blame for bringing Bubsy back into the spotlight.
 
Oh hooray a floaty shit platformer just like back in the day!

I might have at least chuckled if Bubsy was some done up like he's been unemployed and homeless schzio for twenty years. Open with him fishing a half-eaten burger out of the garbage, then suddenly ADVENTURE CALLS and so he pisses on the trash can as he eats the burger, then leaps into action while blaming the jews!

People thought Bubsy was going to be in the new Sonic game before it turned out you could make your own OC.
 
This made me believe there is in fact a god, and he fucking hates us all and wants us to suffer greatly. As this could have only happen through some all powerful force, and no loving god would ever let this happen.

What happens if Bubsy somehow manages to do well enough this time to warrant resurrecting his entire franchise?
 
I could understand about half of the sounds (not words... sounds) that VA was making...

And if we're bringing back 90s franchises or "spiritual successors" or whatever, I want a new Blast Corps. And Earthworm Jim.

Look the people have spoken and they want bubsy, not actual fun games. Fun in video games were outlawed by the internet long ago, now it ether serious art or interactive ironic shit posts.
 
They honestly should have forced Rob Paulson to voice Bubsy again.

Is it just me, or does Bubsy sound bored and the game look really slow and uneventful? Like, as if it wasn't made by professionals. You know, like the old games.

I wonder why they bothered. Pretty much everyone and their mom views Bubsy as a massive joke in the video game world.
 
I'm glad that my beautiful boy is making a return. Bubsy3D was one of my favourite games that I played when I was little and also Bubsy is a cool dude and a great friend. Do not abandon him.
