A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

Streeting obviously wants to end his career choking on girldick.
So be it. It's his choice.
Won't do him any favours sexually, unless hes actually a chaser, increasing amounts of gays detest the tranny faggots.

I just hope and pray for all of our sakes that there's no 'Chris Bryant' type photos out there...

Britain First are holding their first ever Conference in Sutton Coldfield on Saturday 28th November.

An odd choice, seeing as Sutton Coldfield is 50-50 Tory/Liberal traditionally, but good for them.

They're local government. Think of a city council, but with even less incentive to actually do anything useful.
That's hard to believe. I've never had a city council that did much of anything here in the USA. Fortunately that meant they left everyone alone to deal with things on their own like adults. From what I hear your councils not only refuse to do anything but actively go out of their way to stop people from doing anything because they're self-important twats who can't stand being made to look like the useless do-nothings they are.

Scotland are fucking stupid and fanning the flames in Dundee.

Due to student flats not being occupied currently they have given all the student housing over to Asylum seekers. Which means students now don't have any where to live and the illegals have access to a bunch of stupid teenage girls leaving home for the first time. What could go wrong? They're probably thinking schools have better security than most hotels, which makes them harder to protest and laws will punish protesters harder for doing it on school grounds.

Govern smarter

Imagine roughly a months wage every year goes to funding the police, fire brigade and social care (inbreds) with the split being 12/12/76.

The worst thing they could do now is get some angry jocks joining in with us, but they're doing it.

"Critically ill" children have arrived in Scotland from Gaza, meanwhile native Scots are waiting up to a year after MRIs finding tumours to get actual treatment.

The first "one in, one out" flight had NO MIGRANTS :O at the last minute because charities threatened legal action. We are officially back where we started.

Keir Starmer and McSweeney are reportedly terrified over the coming hit piece book 'The Fraud: Keir Starmer, Morgan McSweeney, and the Crisis of British Democracy' by Paul Holden from the Labour Left about how Starmer and McSweeney ensured Corbyn failed, as the Mandelson scandal rages on:

Oh shit, Starmer is fucked. Can't see how he'll be in post for another six months at this rate.

Miliband seems to have been the person driving the weekend's awful news about Starmer/No 10/McSweeney.

Not only did Blair start the current dogpile, then it was Burnham with the leadership whispers over the weekend and then today it's been revealed that Ed Miliband has been pulling strings too. Apparently Miliband started this after Starmer tried firing him Miliband last week and Miliband rejected it and demanded to stay.

All of these figures are endorsing Lucy Powell for Deputy PM because Starmer fired her two weeks ago.

Don't sleep on Miliband. Another Fabian Society and tribe member. Despite him speaking out against Blair in the past he is definitely cut from the same cloth.

Its pretty funny how the old New Labour gang are all still out there pulling the strings.

I've just heard an interesting thing in the Commons. One of those blink and you'll miss it moments. Apparently Serco have been fined recently. No details given as to why and how much, but Lammy just dropped that one in casually.

They've been fined twice in the past, though Lammy's reticence over this latest one means there may be more we're not aware of. Once in 2019 for around £20mil over charging the government for electronic tags for prisoners who were either dead or left the country, and then again in 2024 for failing to tag prisoners, this time there was no official figure given, but it was believed to be six figures.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the migrant hotels being as how they're under the microscope at the moment.

Scotland is uniting with England. I've heard they're flying the Union jack to show solidarity against migrants. I've had a lot of Scottish pals saying good on England, we're proud of you for flying your flag. Next world cup they might even support England if we play Germany or an African team! Any other teams they're still supporting someone else though.

If I didn't know the government was intentionally doing this I would say why do they care. "Sue me faggot, they will all be eaten by Lions in Africa and I own a money printer" would be my response.

British politics in a nutshell. Nonces with so many skeletons they can't fit in the closet. As soon as one backstabs another publicly they all start doing it. It's like this scene in silent hill.

Its Mandy time...

Global Counsel being discussed on the floor. Lets fucking gooooooooooo!

The FBI were given a file on Mandelson. If someone from the colonies wants to file an FOIA request that would be lovely.
