https://news.sky.com/story/row-over-new-greggs-vegan-sausage-rolls-heats-up-11597679 (https://archive.ph/5Ba6o)

A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

The girl's story, as told by the mum (Though an American did the talking so it's written as "mom," instead)
I spoke with the mom of one of the girls (Mayah) and got the entire story that the media is covering up and lying about.

So first of all, the reporting got the names of the girls mixed up. There were 3 girls who were there who were accosted and attacked by the migrants.

Lola - Lola is the hero from the video. She's the one with the axe defending her sister from the migrant attackers

Ruby - Lola's older sister who was attacked and hospitalized

Mayah - Ruby's best friend who was with them and went to call the police after Ruby was attacked by the migrants

Here's the summary of what happened from Mayah's mother:

"Yes. So what happened was the girls where out just walking and the man in the picture made comments to lola(the younger girl) calling her sexy and other sexual remarks then the girls started to tell this man to leave them alone and stop following them and making sexual remarks to them. After that the man's sister (also in the picture) came around the corner and physically attacked ruby(the older sister) she grabbed her hair dragged her to the floor started to punch her then both the man and woman where kicking her in head while she was on the floor. At this point my daughter (mayah) called the police so my daughters account after that is all abit blurry. But that is when lola had the weapons she pulled them out to protect ruby. After that the man came back at lola recording her making sure she showed the weapons to the camera and antagonising her. Ruby was hospitalised after the attack with a severe concussion a tennis ball sized lump to the back of her head aswell as lots of bruises."

Not sure if this has already been shared. There's competing narratives so it depends on what you want to believe and whatnot. Not entirely certain if the girl's story is legit or not, or if this account has actually been in communication with the actual mother.

If true, it reminds of the defence played for the Southport killer, where the fact he was legally in the country and not a Pakistani and/or Muslim is somehow meant to make us less kneejerk in blaming immigrants or non-Brits for committing the crime to begin with. Bulgarian or Somalian, white or black, it doesn't demerit the fact it was still someone who's not from here whose existence here wasn't necessary to begin with and who we would've been better off without. They took one crime off the shoulders of the illegals and hotel-occupants, well done, so I suppose we'll just use this as an argument against legal immigration regardless of origin instead, because evidently immigrants as a whole just seem prone to crime and violence wherever they go.

Our workshop now has several Union flags and St. George's flags hung from several engineers stations. Management have said it's fine so long as they're secured properly at all 4 corners and don't get in the way or covered in any muck or grease.

Really warms my heart looking out my office onto shop floor in the small hours. If I could take a picture and put it on here without outing my workplace, and by extension myself I absolutely would do.

I had some cowboy builders cold calling earlier. Took a leaflet, did some research, and found out that the man who runs the company has multiple active CCJs. He shows up and steals deposits from people.

I printed off lots of little slips with details and posted them through the letterboxes on my street. My first real life phonebooking!
(yes, I did skip the Muslim house before Kofi starts screaming)

The problem with the half sword meme is you're doing an awkward thing to point a blade at yourself. If you've done any sword fighting you know how often it ends in grappling. And you can always use it as a punching weapon without having to reverse it. Smashing your fist with a guard above it into someone's face is a good way to cause blunt damage. There's always talk of having to punch through helmets and you don't need to do that. You need to rattle the thing inside the helmet bad enough it can't function. If you hit it with enough force you're going to give the guy inside a concussion or knock him out. You have a huge piece of metal swinging at someone. Even in practice people end up injured pretty bad from impacts not intended to hurt them.

I think you are confusing halfsword with mordhau.

Halfsword is this..named because you grip the sword halfway up the blade in order to turn it into a makeshift spear:

Mordhau is when you use the sword like a makeshift hammer.

Which MP do you think the Tories will groom to take the fall? I don't think Reform has any one they can put in charge for 6-12 months and then blame for all the bad policies. But the Tories always use it and I bet Labour do with Starmer too.
If anybody, it will have to be Jenrick - though that ship might have already sailed.

The question is do the Tories want a Rory Stewart type 'liberal', in which case Mel Stride or Kim Malthouse might get chosen, or do they want to out-reform Reform UK and elect somebody like Laura Trott (oopsie, strong based woman alert... remember the last time they tried that?)

If it's not Nigel then Lee Anderson as leader would be worth considering if Richard Tice doesn't get the votes.

I'd take two years of Nigel and then hopefully by then they'd have a young leader who could be a proper legacy PM.

When people say 'we can't keep having GE's and changing leaders' well let's have a look at things this century:

2000-2007 Blair (won two GE's in 2001 and 2005) - the last PM to achieve 10 years in office.

2007-2010 Brown (lost in 2010 to Cameron) - only managed three years as PM.

2010-2016 Cameron (won two GE's in 2010 and 2015, though with the support of the Lib Dems in 2010) - lasted six years as PM.

2016-2019 May (only just won the 2017 GE with support of the DUP) - lasted three years as PM.

2019-2022 Johnson (won an outright vote at the 2019 GE as the Brexit Party backed him) - lasted three years as PM.

2022-2022 Truss (we all know how it went - served less time in office than George Canning).

2022-2024 Sunak (lost the 2024 GE) - lasted two years.

The point being that we've already had points this decade when the Government has become unstable and only either changing the leader or 'going to the palace' has changed things.

Evidently, we can change leaders and parties when it suits us. After all, they are the Public Servants.

Are THEY serving US?

Yup. Half-swording was used for precision thrusts for gaps in armor.

Half-sword (left) vs Mordhau (right).
Both were absolutely techniques that were taught and used.

We're also seeing the US Congress taking a liking of Nigel Farage and the sidelining of 'never here Keir' by Donald Trump. At the same time, Rachel from Accounts is going to have to beg the IMF for a bailout and she is going to have to have to take orders from the USA and Donald by default.

Musk has also chucked his support behind Advance UK/Tommy Robinson and Lowe.
Fingers crossed this doesn't contribute to splitting the vote down the line or something to that effect. As it stands Labour are looking at decimation.

Also I was looking into the nature of the agreement between the Lib Dems and the Conservatives. It included a cap in immigration right, and they were set to introduce it their first year in power - 2010. Theresa May (she tried to do this again during her term but was stopped by her own party btw - thanks Mogg!) put it in place and it would've reduced numbers to 10s of thousands instead of the annual 200k we were getting, but the high court deemed it unlawful and scrapped it - though they were already reconsidering it due to business concerns. The arguments used back then are the exact same ones still being used today. It's crazy that we've been stuck in this limbo for 15 years at least by now.

I think they already have the MP they intend to do that with in charge: Badenoch. Whether it was their intention with her from the start is anyone's guess. Right now what exactly they can say and offer as policy is sort of kneecapped by her specifically being the face of the Conservatives and the remnant-rot of Boris supporters (and his wife's politics lmao) still filling out the party ranks. Any adamant or strong proposals for dealing with immigration and illegals is mostly confined to the Conservative's official twitter account and the occasional remark from Jenrick, but the former constantly gets community-noted and the latter isn't the party leader. Badenoch is mostly keeping apace with Labour regarding deportation rhetoric but otherwise I think they've been resigned to being ignored by most of the British-right, unless you're an adamant civnat, in which case they appear to be where the wagons are circled.

No one listens to Musk after he went all in on Indians in the US. Whoever he supports people will mock.

Ofcom are going to be checking the site now they're being sued in court. I think we should have lots of nice flags and comments on our profiles. If they're going to steal our posts we should make how we feel known with our forum profiles.

How are Union Jack fans doing today?
Our churches aren’t being shot up by trannies, so pretty well.
Streeting might be moved upwards, as Starmer likes him.
More proof that he’s gay.
He looks like every other mystery origin maybe-Albanian-gangster-maybe-Roma roaming our street. Too tight suit pants and polyester background and the gangster hair shaved cut. None should be here.
I’d put money on some flavour of gypsy as they are exports of making themselves victims in the middle of committing crimes.

Your profile's going to be the equivalent of graffiti in a public toilet for the next week. Or it would've been if you didn't hide your account. Sad!

Fucking hell, Bamber Gascoigne's really let himself go...

Suppose he could pass for Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall after a rough night as well.

With regards to Advance and the others, they don't get anywhere near the level of publicity which Reform UK do - the Reform UK brand works well, it's instantly recognisable and they are the only big enough 'Right Wing' party out there who can feasibly win a GE.

I've no issue with the other parties, from Advance to Britain First and even the National Front, but they aren't able to compete with Reform UK and the thing that the Right needs to do is amalgamate into one big mega party.

Yes, there's things which I don't like about the BNP and NF, but I'd sooner have them in the house than outside and as the Overton Window moves maybe the things they want will be more readily accepted.

This is why I don't mind the criticism of Nigel and much as I'd love him to be PM until 2030 I realise that time and his health will not allow that. However, during that time, strengthening the party and taking in members from Britain First etc. should help bolster the Right's vote - Paul Golding leading a new super Right party would be a boon, for example.

The name isn't important, the movement is, and over 10 years on from UKIP's 2014 EU Parliament win the wind has been in our sails on the Right. It's almost time to go 'over the top' and win big again.

Nigel Farage seems to have seized the narrative and won on the issue of immigration.

First post deportation announcement poll:

1756401014708.webp

1756401096526.webp 1756401140468.webp

Changes
(with FON's last poll dated 20th Aug)

REF (34%) (+1)
CON (15%) (-2)
LAB (18%) (-)
LD (13%) (+1)
GRN (10%) (-)

Most important part there is the natural Tory/Lib Dem vote being hardened. Tories no longer seen as credible opposition so the wets are going to the Lib Dems and the rest to Reform.
  1. Total obliteration of the Tories. No returning from that. Wouldn't even be needed in a coalition
  2. Labour totally obliterated too. Easy pickings for a new party to replace
  3. Collapse in Lib Dem wins (this is a bit mental)
  4. Revival of the SNP in Scotland
  5. Largest ever parliamentary majority for our political system
This is a pollster that typically inflates Reform but they were amongst 2/3 pollsters who called the last few elections pretty closely.

1 - Yes, they'll be lucky to get double figures.
2 - Yes, as above with Tories
3 - Hmm, unless Your Party can eat away at the LD voter base (and it's not that likely considering your South London Socialist in Twickenham is not the same as your North London Socialist in Islington) then I'd have to say no.
4 - They will need a Lazarus-type comeback, I'll say no on this one (unless Alba can hoover up votes).
5 - Yes, and thank you to the Labour and Tory Parties and the Woke cunts who made it possible, along with every Right Wing voter.

I think that the LD's will fail to pick up a single seat in Wales - Reform to get 22-24 seats in Wales and Plaid to get 8-10 which would be an all time high for them.

Either way, Farage as PM and Davey as LOTO looks a dead cert.

Speaking of Reform UK:

Nottinghamshire Reform council boss bans local newspaper's reporters

Revival of the SNP in Scotland
SNP revival seems unlikely. It would be more likely that Labour voters are so upset with current Labour they will vote for SNP as an alternative. SNP voters were naive Scots who didn't see what the party was really about and voting anything that was anti-English. SNP coming out for girldick and mass immigration did huge damage to them all across Scotland and lined up with the scandal that killed the party. I would take any major SNP swings as anti-Starmer votes the same way Labour was Anti-Conservative votes last election.

Britbongers, tea-drinkers, NORF F.C geezers, and unsolicited migrants, lend me your ears.

There is a poll to name Jeremy Corbyn's new party.

I feel obligated to point out that "Jezbollah" is a wonderful name.

Oh look. A link.

Would totally be a shame if people got any ideas...
Soon I hope to have the privilege of voting for "Bin Laden Did Nothing Wrong".
