You guys I’m just like everyone else; im budget conscious! I only spent $1200 on a watch, $6000 on a used Porsche, $30k on a new one, close to $1000 on crappy half size arcade cabinets from Walmart, every iPhone that’s ever come out, a Peloton, and $1000’s on Pay2Win games.

I’m just like you guys, though. I understand what it’s like to not afford things!

Pretty hard to call the dumbass out on anything; he lives and breathes on twitter and the only time he permits any exposure to elements outside that are softball interviews where he's assured there won't be any awkward questions.

1) isn't John a world renowned tech luminary? With all his industry contacts he really could not find a single qualified web developer for this? especially with covid shutdowns having people on the beach?
and doesn't John like the path less travelled in terms of tech hiring?? hire 3-4 talented highschoolers. They could probably knock it out in a ridiculously short time
OTOH working with a web developer would probably make "too large an attack surface" for the developer to discover that John doesn't have much in the way of real technical knowledge -- so well played John

This entire transcription was the most insufferable thing to have been spoken by any tech person.

No one checks in their code as perfect 100% of the time, no one, it literally does not happen EVER in the history of tech companies.

I'll put money, PAC LEVEL MONEY JONJON, that he has no idea how the tech industry runs today with automation, AI/ML, and a CI/CD pipeline run on a Cloud Provider.

It's pretty clear what he means is he identifies and exploits interdisciplinary synergy opportunities to add value and enhance the development lifecycle by implementing paradigm shifting schemas

Eh, Giant SpaceKat was a bunch of woman game devs financed by Frank Wu and the worst parts of Rev 60 - the gameplay design and, um, inspired character designs - were completely Flynt's fault. I hope the programmers they hired all went on to better things. And they probably did, there's a lot of better things for women in tech than vanity projects bankrolled by accused wife beaters.

Brianna is right that local races can be won with very little money (I've managed campaigns for people who were elected as county commissioners in a small counties for as little as $2K-$3K excluding filing fees, and that was probably overkill), but one still can't just buy those seats. For example, it would be exceptionally difficult to get a snarling, 6' tall tranny ghoul who is completely out of touch, has never held a real job, and is a lying, lazy attention whore elected to so much as a town council seat in a tiny town, even if said ghoul had a screaming, gaysian paypig willing to throw hundreds of thousands of dollars into the campaign.
