Aside from the obvious "muh coding" bullshit, go back to the original question: why don't they have more of the issues you stand for listed out?

That is not a coding problem, that is a copy problem. If John and Cenk had actually thought through more issues than "give us money", they would have a list drawn up, with a blurb explaining each one, in a Word doc somewhere. That's the point of boilerplate language; it's something easy and consumable that you can drop into an e-mail, a Facebook post, or a website page.

Even if it took John 4 hours to bumble his way through a Squarespace wizard, at the end he should've been able to copy/paste the relevant policy text into the info page. He didn't, because he didn't have the policy ahead of the deadline. They don't even have ideas about their own scam.

I wish. But I doubt it. I mean, I think it's going to end acrimoniously and with John calling Cenk every -ism and -ist under the sun to try and divert attention from his usual stupidity and laziness. But my understanding of Super PACs are it's very likely they can just siphon off all the money they want and nothing can be done about it.

So I think it's just another scam, like the campaign, where Wu can brazenly grift without facing any political or legal consequences. The interesting thing will be to see what the personal fallout will be. About the best I could hope for would be for Cenk to go scorched earth when he realises that, however much he thinks he's taking advantage of Wu, that Ol' Mississippi John has a few advantages in avoiding consequences that he doesn't.
 
Welp, still waiting on that video. Everything points to Wu being appointed to launch this PAC a month ago, then spending the whole month goofing off playing P2W games on her phone and sperging on twitter. Then, come last weekend, she suddenly realised she had 2 days left to do an entire month's worth of work and hastily threw together a shitty squarespace website. On her podcast last week she promised videos, plural on Monday. I bet she's still frantically trying to throw something together in final cut just so she's got something to put out on twitter.

Back when halo was YUGE, a friend of a friend had a personalized voice mail greeting from Cortana (Jennifer Hale), cost him $15. Apparently there are (or were) groups of nerds who realized that a VA, even top-tier talent, only costs a few hundred for an hour so you pool your cash and get your 15 second custom greeting. Its even cheaper if you are flexible on delivery and you can get them after they are already in studio for something else.

If it is her, it cost John less than half the cost of backing into a parking bollard to have her read his shit.


tl;dr Voice actors are scriptwhores. Doesn't surprise me John hired some animu dubber.
