Their google search results are also fucked up. I did a search for Rebellion PAC, the and the website didn't show up on the first 2 pages.

The beginning of this documentary actually gave me a bit of respect for Stink Ogre. Embracing internet early on and living out his dream as a public access TV figure. Him and Alex Jones are two sides of the same coin, since their dream is being batshit over politics.

Alex Jones admits that his persona is an act though, unlike Chunk who is exactly his on air persona in real life and people hate him for it.

Alex Jones is at least moderately successful and doesn't have to e-beg like Chunk does for everything. If anything ole JonJon is going to give him lessons on how to grift even harder!

He couldn't find a qualified web developer for SquareSpace but he held out hope that one would show up and take the job all the way until four hours before the site had to be up. If he didn't have someone like a week or two before the deadline maybe he should have started doing it himself.

This will be fantastic. He doesn't have any employees yet and he's already laying the blame on them. A web developer isn't the one that writes his PACs policies or goals, but that's what he's going with.

What salary would Wu want from all of this? Whatever it is Frank makes Wu is going to make more than that.


edit: I hope the first video they release is hastily recycled material from Wu's campaign(Frank in the godzilla suit etc) and more badly lit kitchen footage.

This is a little autistic nitpick, but it's just something I remember from my college days. No actual computer scientist considers building a website "coding" because you don't code in HTML. It's in the name, really: HTML is a markup language, not a programming language.

That of course would be assuming that John actually did any of the website layout himself, instead of filling out a standard template. Godzilla of Tech Feminism, everybody.
 
Whereas John neither codes nor works properly with others (except for dogs, though those get killed too).

I like how he says he "coded" a square space template. And that it took FOUR FUCKING HOURS to do it.

The issue is not that there is some technical/coding hurdle to be overcome which requires an all night hacker session to resolve. The issue is that there is no fucking content at all because John stands for nothing. Usually the website content is pretty easy to come up with if you actually have something to say.

I mean, being a true-and-honest PAC, I'm sure that before a single dollar from their donors was spent, they actually thought about the issues, came to consensus and collaborated on some documents which include a well developed policy and mission statement, a list of legislative objectives, a list of candidates they are looking to support, some success stories, some upcoming actions, a who's who in the organization page.

I mean, it would be shady if they just threw the page up without thinking through those things to expedite donations

Jesus Christ, you ain't kidding -- I can't get youtube-dl to download it (even with authentication enabled and session cookies refreshed) and Youtube calls it "offensive" and demands I click "I understand" before letting me see it. I've never had to do that for any other video I've ever watched on YT.

Fucking scumbags. Why exactly is Google of all people carrying water for TYT? Everybody fucking hates them, even other progressives.

My last watch cost me close to 37k with auction fees, but it's only because it is related to a musician I love. My usual watch is a really nice automatic waterproof steel Seiko with steel band, and that was less than 250.
