I've worked in tech for a very long time, and have never once seen multi-factor authentication (MFA) abbreviated to TFA. It's either MFA or 2FA. More proof that John is not really a tech person at all.

This is just stupid.
The military and most government agencies don't snap up the latest tech on a whim, what they work with is so important it's best to stick with what might be old but is proven to work as the expect it to. It also makes sense from an economic standpoint not to blow money like a tard when what you have might be old but still works versus something new and untested.

Even if Wu weren't completely bullshitting about her expertise, how could it help for her to be elected to congress? They already seem to have identified the problem, so it's not like she's some prophet predicting doom that nobody else knows about. Does she imagine she's going to be in there patching vulnerabilities herself?

John must be losing control of his overly complicated fictional biography.
As near as I can suss it out, there isn't room for John to have spent even a day in a minimum wage job and still have enjoyed long and successful careers as a journalist, a graphic designer, a professional artist, and a software engineer, all in the 18 months between leaving college with no degree at age 29 and marrying Frank's wallet at age 31.
