Gah, this triggers me so hard.
It's called S/MIME you dumb bitch. It's existed for the last two decades. Your email client already supports it. You just don't use it. Also, your SMTP traffic is almost certainly already encrypted with TLS.
The last thing the world needs is another fucking Apple proprietary protocol for a thing that already works just fine. At least if you're going to pretend to be a software engineer, at least be vaguely familiar with, you know, software.
