You're probably right, I hadn't thought about that. Flu accumulating new victim points (points no one but him gives a fuck about, but whatever) would be a motivation for him for sure. I figured he'd just beat the old "I beat goobergobber" dead horse even deader. It would actually be pretty funny if he does try to say he's still being targeted.

That's been the narrative since 2004. Democrats were absolutely butthurt about the Swiftboat Veterans anti-Kerry ads, plus how effective Karl Rove was with targeted messaging. They honestly believe the only reason people don't switch to their enlightened ideology is because Republicans run more negative ads, thus scaring the sheeple away from The One Truth.

In the context of Trump, it's hysterical. The only way to still believe that is if you think every single attack on Trump is an innocent attempt to expose the truth, instead of the seething coping hatred of losing to someone you view as an inferior.

I don't know where John gets the idea that his side is "numb", though. This feels like a script written by someone who realized the Orange Man Bad meme has a point, but decided to double down anyway. "Don't let your screams be memes! Vote angry!"

so in desperation to flesh out the webpage, he figures he can do a little reworkon an almost 30 year old modern classic and the kiddos won't notice

It's worth keeping in mind when John's more outrageous grifts actually succeed that the intended target of those grifts are people even dumber than John.
 
There's been no engagement with anything the PAC has produced from either Cenk or any of the TYT team. You can see why of course, it's just cringe worthy stuff Wu's produced so far. I figured the PAC would probably limp to election day before Cenk cut all ties, but I'm starting to wonder if we won't see some drama sooner.

Wu suffers from severe Dunning-Kruger. She thinks she's good at narrative, and that she's so good that she doesn't need to crack a book about story telling, or do a little bit of informal focus grouping among friends or, well, anything an aspiring writer might do to improve their craft. This is trend we've seen carried on from the Election Eve book, the radio play, Revolution 60, Wu's own political ads and now this. They've all been shit, and Wu's never even understood why they're shit. It's never even occurred to her that she might let someone else have a crack.

There's also the broader question of what the point of this exercise is in the first place. Wu has constantly produced these "adverts" for which there isn't actually an audience. If it wasn't for the fact that this has been Wu's MO for the last 4 years, I'd say that the point was to have some activity to point to as an excuse for soliciting donations, but I'm not even sure the thought is that sophisticated. I think Wu is just an extremely stupid person operating on some lowest energy level theory of "if I build it, they will come."
