The feminist party stops when feelings get hurt, assuming it ever begins in the first place.
This feels like an on the spot lie John made up to impress whoever was asking the questions. He wasn't getting the reaction he wanted or wasn't feeling suitably looked-up to so he pulled this shit right of his ass and the reporter just accepted it.lol "university classes at age 14."
So he started way earlier than usual, stayed in college much longer than usual, and earned precisely zero degrees
"lol I'm totally a quirky Boston geek girl u guise! Not a Mississippi tranny who doesn't understand sports!"

He's used the lie a couple of times before but I think the age varies from time to time? I know it's tough for us to keep track of all John's lies even with a very fleshed out wiki (hi @Jaimas) so there's no way Brianna can keep up with all of his lesser-repeated lies. The feminist party stops when feelings get hurt, assuming it ever begins in the first place.

He'd almost be smart if he wasn't an idiot. They say no one is a perfect liar but damnit, Brianna's gonna try! (And fail, obviously)I get the feel this was done to "source" some lies written on Wikipedia. Check the dates it mentions for when he enrolled in college for starters, then compare it to the dates that crap article cites.

Basically, he's rewriting his past and taking advantage of Wikipedia's secondary sourcing policy to make his retcons official record.
It says a lot about modern journalism that no one asked him how old he is whenever he made such claims, especially in a biography-type piece..I get the feel this was done to "source" some lies written on Wikipedia. He's used the lie a couple of times before but ...
What I believe is the basis for this one is that colleges often have summer workshops or classes for kids and John's parents enrolled him in some to get him out of the house. I mean, having classes AT a university is totally the same as university classes.
Glamour said:The #Gamergate cyberattack against Brianna Wu, in which an Internet mob terrorized the software engineer after she spoke out against sexism and misogyny in the gaming industry, was tactically elegant in its launch and spectacularly cruel in its delivery. At its height in 2014, she saw her home address and personal information scrawled across the Web, and received more than 180 death threats on her social media accounts. Among the most vile were promises to rape her with military-grade weapons. Wu knows that threats like these led some women to quit the business and likely discouraged many others from entering altogether. But she continued to speak out.
Roberta Williams said:Back when I got started, which sounds like ancient history, back then the demographics of people who were into computer games, was totally different, in my opinion, then they are today. Back then, computers were more expensive, which made them more exclusive to people who were maybe at a certain income level, or education level. So the people that played computer games 15 years ago were that type of person. They probably didn't watch television as much, and the instant gratification era hadn't quite grown the way it has lately. I think in the last 5 or 6 years, the demographics have really changed, now this is my opinion, because computers are less expensive so more people can afford them. More "average" people now feel they should own one.
Glamour said:Now the 40-year-old video game developer is launching herself into a different kind of firestorm: She’s running for Congress in Massachusetts’ Eighth District on a platform crafted, in part, from her experience facing off against white-supremacist groups, which, she notes, have been against not only women gamers but also public policies that benefit anyone not white, heterosexual, and male. Her goal is economic and political parity for women, LGBTQ Americans, people of color, and the working poor. “All these forces are tied together,” Wu told Glamour from her headquarters in Walpole, Massachusetts. “The system is not working for any of them.”
Glamour said:The idea that the system is broken has motivated thousands of women to launch political campaigns; eleven thousand have told She Should Run, a nonpartisan group that offers resources to women interested in seeking office, that they are actively planning to run for office. Founder and CEO Erin Loos Cutraro says this new crop of political talent is “sick of not having their voices and perspectives represented” and recognizes “the impact they can make at all levels of government.”
Glamour said:Wu, a self-taught engineer who started programming at age eight and took university classes at 14, is planning a campaign that’s social media–savvy and based in door-to-door canvasing. She’ll need every tool in her arsenal to pull off a Democratic primary win against incumbent Stephen Lynch, who’s heavily backed by the state’s party. (“I see a Democratic party that’s not standing up for us,” she says.) If elected, she pledges, “My first mission is to make investments in the economy to help people just be able to live.” Also on the docket: cybersecurity legislation to protect online privacy.
I wish I could give multiple ratings at times.Wu always has to be above everyone else: In this fucking sentence, she goes above any previous bit of self-promoting aggrandizement and into the realm of fucking legend. She promotes herself to the point where she is a fucking child prodigy, and she alone has the fucking skill and technical know-how to fucking bring order to congress and solve all the world's problems.
All right. Been a while since we played Spot Wu's Lies, so I'm going over her piece in Glamour. Usual rules apply...
1. Wu is 43 years old.
...
Brianna Fucking Wu. Brianna MOON ROCKS Fucking Wu.
117 points. May god have mercy on us all.
