Judging from the pictures of Young John that we've seen he probably was a perfectly normal looking boy, very likely of the cute little rascal type. And yes, something happened to him. Maybe not in a camp, but somewhere.
He is not this broken and dead inside because of the nudie mags in daddy's sock drawer.

Imagine what people encountering this gangling giant ogre in public think when he claims he's named "Brianna."
No. He was actually a VERY TALL rascal. If you've only encountered John online and not examined all these historical pictures, you might think of him as a possibly passable tranny. His extreme tallness, though, is something only a male generally achieves. A female of John's height would be called a giantess.
Nobody encountering John in the real world would mistake this hulking ogre towering over them for a woman.

What’s the difference between ultra rich conservatives and ultra rich liberals that fund places like thinkprogress? Thinkprogress is like the same thing as breitbart only extremely liberal and not always based on reality.

I like how she hears like a new thing and starts talking about it constantly like she's an expert. Here we need only remember that she had a book called Dark Money read to her a couple months back so now she has to use that phrase as much as possible.

Height is irrelevant. Most people coming face to face with Wu will be wondering what dangerous species this thing in front of them is.
I'm pretty certain then some people have actually run away when faced with a Wu snarl.
